The Hilton Charlotte Airport consistently impresses guests with its modern, clean accommodations and outstanding, personalized customer service, particularly from front desk and restaurant staff. However, the hotel receives criticism for billing errors and inconsistent property details, specifically regarding advertised amenities like fitness rooms.
When we arrived at Charlotte Douglas after 24 hours of traveling, we found the hotel shuttle very easy. John was very informative and answered any questions that we had. The hotel staff were very friendly and greeted us with smiles. Our room was perfect and we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone visiting Charlotte.
I was a guest Monday, February 23-28. We were treated very kindly. The room was clean and fresh smell. The gym equipment was nice but we did not use. The restaurant breakfast was good, Raqueal, was our waitress and was pleasant, attentive and made us feel like we were at her home. The line cook, Subodh made my omelette perfectly. I enjoyed my stay.

Upon our arrival, we had questions, we met Tony who was the only Customer Service Representative at the Front Desk. He answered our questions politely and he exemplifies the qualities of an excellent customer service. He was very patient and answered all questions professionally. He speaks politely and smiles with the customer. My husband and I, felt very comfortable speaking with Tony. I am a stickler and who who expects to get great customer and Tony did no disappoint us. Overall, we had a great experience dealing with him. Quality customer service is of utmost importance to any Organization to grow, be profitable and successful, Tony is an Asset. He displayed great professionalism by providing quick, friendly and efficient customer service. Kudos Tony!!!!
We stayed here before an early morning flight to California. The hotel is lovely and seems to be quite new. The room was very nice and clean. We were on a lounge access floor, and were able to have a glass of wine, some cheese and crackers, and other snacks. The staff in the lounge was lovely (Lorraine?). John Hadeem provided our airport transportation - he was charming, timely and took care of our bags. Highly recommend.
I had an excellent experience thanks to Tony the front desk employee. From the moment I arrived, they were welcoming, friendly, and incredibly professional. They handled everything efficiently, answered all my questions with patience, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Their positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond truly stood out. It’s clear they take pride in their work, and they made a great first impression for the organization. One of the worst Hilton stays I’ve had. I was double-charged for my room. While they say the refund is pending, Its been a week now and I still have not received it. Service throughout the hotel was consistently poor. I tried multiple times to get food at the restaurant and stood waiting 10+ minutes without being acknowledged. One night I finally left and DoorDashed food instead. I booked a fitness room with a pull-up bar, clearly advertised on Hilton’s website. When I arrived, the room had only a stationary bike. The front desk treated me poorly and insisted they don't offer fitness rooms with pull-up bars, even when I showed them photos from their own site. They told me to take it up with the third-party booking company. After the third party contacted the hotel, the manager admitted the room was supposed to have the equipment, yet they still refused to make it right. That night, my AC broke, and only then was I moved to another room. I was promised Hilton Honors points for the issues, which I never received. This stay was far below Hilton standards. I would not recommend this hotel. RUN!!!!!
Hi, The Hilton was a nice place to stay with especially with the staff that helped me a lot, her name was Layona. She was very kind and a very happy person. She did an excellent job, you really will know that she loves her work so much. Hope she will get a recognition for her hard work. Everything else was 10/10. Definitely will get back!
Overall, my partner and I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Check-in was smooth, accessing our room was very simple, and the staff were incredibly helpful with all of our needs. All special requests (extra towels, forgotten toiletry items, and maintenance services) are available via online means, which was helpful on several occasions. By simply scanning a QR code and inputting our room information, we quickly (in under 10 minutes from the time of request) received the assistance we needed. Additionally, the shuttle service to the Charlotte airport was a fantastic means of reaching our flights on time. The staff's knowledge of traffic patterns and airport wait times helped us schedule the appropriate time of our departure from the hotel and reduced needless waiting within the terminal.
