Guests consistently rate the property highly for cleanliness, spacious rooms, and the friendly, accommodating shuttle service. However, there is significant concern regarding vehicle security and an 'inconsistent and unprofessional' attitude from some staff members. The property overlooks the airport flight path, and amenities like in-room coffee makers and adequate lighting are lacking.
Stayed here to catch some sleep between flights at Charlotte airport. You have to call to request the shuttle when you land, but it then arrived within 15 minutes. In the morning I had to leave at 5am and was able to book it without any problems. The room and bathroom were huge, clean and comfortable. The only thing I would have welcomed was a kettle. The staff was nice and they do have coffee downstairs (seemingly 24 hours). I left before the breakfast so can't comment on how it was, but was able to grab a small breakfast bag (again, book it in advance) with an apple and a pastry. The price-quality ratio was pretty good (better than others in the area) and overall it met the needs of getting me to and from the airport with little difficulty and enabling me to shower and sleep between flights, so a thumbs up. I'd stay again.
Arrived in town for an impromptu weekend trip. Eric at the front desk welcomed us right in. He was friendly, accommodating, and made us feel right at home despite being over 400 miles away. Rooms were clean with no weird smells.
I arrived and check-in was very simple and welcoming. I was able to get a small tube of toothpaste, complimentary. The hand soap smelled very nice. I really like the tubes that the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are stored in. The bed was so comfy and the pillows were heavenly. I had a great night's sleep. Check-out was very simple as well. The location is very convenient near the airport. I will recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Charlotte.
I must say that this was one of the best hotels that I stayed at on my trip up or down to my Navy reunion to S. Carolina. I rolled in late that night around 9ish.They did provide a Veteran's disc. plus the nice gentleman working the front said if I was willing to take an alternative room that I could save another 10 Bucks. It was only me and I just needed a bed and a shower so I took it. Plus as I was walking away, he handed me a handle bag with two waters in it which I thought was a nice gesture. Room was very nice and spacious and I slept like a rock. I would definitely stay here again. Big thumbs up!!!
After traveling for hours, I stopped in to the nearest hotel. I always try to stay at a Hilton because they’re Clean and usually kept well. What I was unprepared for was how sweet and accommodating the staff was at this location. Kaylee was at the front desk when I came in, She greeted me with a smile, She saw how tired I was and she gave me a very nice room Away from noise and light. She provided me with bottled water and in a discount for parking because of how late it was. I come to this area a lot, And because of her service, I will only be staying here in the future.
While the rooms were nice ... the staff friendly... the Lavazza Coffee was delicious with the breakfast ... the only thing I was unhappy with was the $10.00 daily parking fee! I'm not sure why there was a parking fee since we weren't in the middle of any congested area of Charlotte & the lot was quite large with lots of parking spaces left open... nor why parking isn't included in the cost of the room ...but that was not appreciated & I find that disturbing with the high cost of rooms as they are anyway. Not happy about that at all !
Hotel was nice, the staff at check in were both very personable and happy to help. The room was clean and the entire hotel is well taken care of. The part that got the two stars removed is parking. $10 a night that you have to pay via QR code. I got to the hotel around 8:30 for the night and left before 8am the next morning. In that timeframe, someone had been in my vehicle and messed stuff around. My doors were 100% locked when I got to the hotel the night before. Thankfully, nothing was missing from my vehicle but just make sure nothing gets left in the car. When I went to let the lady at the front desk know, she was very uninterested and made it sound like it is a common issue.
Only a short night but overall a great experience. Simple but clean rooms. No coffee maker but they had fresh coffee in lobby with “all the fixings.“ Missed out on breakfast and restaurant due to early flight departure. Morning shuttle run was excellent but night prior shuttle was much delayed and maybe non-existent. Upon seeing a different Hilton shuttle twice, he offered to take us to Tru out of sympathy. When arrived, the shuttle sat idle next to Tru/Hampton. ? Seems like it would have been a likely long wait…
There was too much noise from the planes, the window shades were difficult to operate and the pillows were like "pancakes". If sitting at the desk which has poor lighting and it is too small for an adult I would get the blast of air from the air conditioning. There is no other chair to relax other than the desk chair. Also no coffee maker in the room. The bathroom was clean but the dispensers for soap are hard to operate for an older adult. In general the room is small, also having the 2 brands mixed together in one property is confusing. You register at Hilton but breakfast is at the other property. Parking is $11.99. There is no where to walk to for food or anything. On the plus side the facility was very clean and the staff was courteous at the front desk.
Very clean. Friendly enough staff. You must pay extra for parking. However the worst part of our stay by far were the occupants of the room next door, who after midnight decided to listen to movies/video games on HIGH volume with earth shaking bass, and the nighttime staff, who were unable to resolve the issue despite numerous requests. This went on for hours. We did not sleep. And then as if that wasn't enough, my digital room key was disconnected well before checkout, necessitating another visit to the front desk for a physical key, which was just the icing on the cake of this disaster of a stay. As a Hilton honors member, I couldn't be more disappointed. Do not recommend.
