We flew to Charlotte, NC for my wife’s Uncle funeral. The hotel was very clean, inside & out. The staff was welcoming, courteous & kind. Ms Elisha checked us in. She was professional, personable & caring. Every staff member spoke to us on our entrance & exits. The free breakfast was delicious. I especially loved their sausage biscuits & gravy. I had it every day of our stay. The coffee was delicious too. The hotel is right next to Top Golf, plus there are local stores & eateries near by. When we come back to Charlotte, we’re definitely booking our stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites at this location. Thank you Staff.

I just want to say I got here at 1:30 in the morning the hotel was quiet and wonderful I didn't have anybody banging on my ceiling it's very kid friendly it's a nice place talked off into the cut with a good view and there are good people that work here I requested a late checkout and it was no issue. It was definitely a good stay it's worth the money, I was just returning from Florida to Ohio and had to stop for the night. It's a very clean establishment no sightings of bed bugs anything like that that you might just find along a hotel on the road. And they actually have a really dope snack shop. Ana, was extremely kind and actually went out of her way to make sure my family and myself stayed comfortably her customer service is exceptional.

Fantastic location and highly recommended! The hotel is fairly new, clean, and in excellent condition. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a highlight, and checking out was completely seamless. For the price point, the modern facilities and top-tier service make this hotel an excellent value. I would definitely stay

My experience at this hotel was excellent, and I really have to shoutout one specific employee from House keeping named Emma for the amazing job she does. The cleanliness and overall condition of the hotel were truly impressive. Everything felt spotless, welcoming, and incredibly well cared for. What stood out even more was how friendly, accommodating, and attentive she was. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, and her dedication did not go unnoticed. You can tell she takes real pride in her work, and that kind of leadership and consistency makes a huge difference in the overall guest experience. She is absolutely the kind of employee every company should aim to employ. I frequent this area often for work and will absolutely be coming back for another stay due to the experience I had with Emma.

My family and I recently stayed at this hotel and had such a great experience! The property itself was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, but what really made the stay stand out was the incredible service. Emma went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Our flight to Orlando was grounded then cancelled we found ourselves stranded along with hundreds of other planes, due to weather. We managed to book a room at this holiday inn express before our flight was cancelled and upon arrival, Darin, your registration agent was serving a long line of frustrated, tired, and all around unhappy customers. Darin got through the line quick, and went out of his way to take care of his customers, all while accommodating a completely booked hotel. I came down this morning, expecting a fresh face at the desk. Darin was still there, smiling and he even made sure I got some much needed rest. Darin made all around crappy situation into a positive experience.

I don't usually do reviews about chain hotels where I regularly stay. But I just had to say that this particular Holiday inn Express had the most delightful welcoming people. They really seem to care and want you to have a good stay. The even upgraded me to a room with a preview of a lake. But the clincher for me is that I now have electric vehicle and I knew I needed to charge this morning before heading back to Michigan. I was thinking I would have to go somewhere else to get breakfast while car charged. But this Holiday inn Express actually encourages you to feel free to grab your breakfast and take it with you. So I grabbed all my favorites, put them in a bag and ate my Holiday inn Express breakfast while charging my car not too far away. Love it!

Just won’t be staying at hotels anymore. Booked this for valentines night as my fiance and I wind down our road trip, and thought it’d be great tucked away and right next to top golf, so I booked. Not thinking about how EVERYONE goes to a hotel on valentine’s weekend to do YOU KNOW WHAT……well they were in the room next to us…. So we went to turn on the TV….NO REMOTE!! Like uh! So then we waited for one to be found, the neighbors continued to be louder than the TV, and I’m not trying to bash anyone for wanting a good time but really? That loud to be over the TV too?? This is supposed to be a family-friendly environment. To top it all off, we found blood or a mystery stain in our SHEETS (pictured). At this point it was 10:40pm we had barely been at the hotel for 3 hrs (checking in, leaving for dinner, coming back to this mess), so we decided to leave and finish the 6 hr drive home…. I thought I might get compensated in some way especially because I wasn’t making a scene about any of it, but I was still charged the full amount even though we checked out prior to 11pm (time stamp on radio)…like couldn’t even do partial?? I was offered a new room but you know everyone is doing their business and who knows what stains are other places if they left these VERY BLATANT ones?? On valentine’s weekend of all days… won’t be doing IHG again, Airbnb I’m here to stay.

I do NOT recommend this Holiday Inn to anyone that wants to feel safe while they sleep If are female alone do NOT stay here If you are a Veteran with PTSD do NOT stay here If you want to feel safe do NOT stay here If you are European and want to feel safe in America do NOT stay here ? 1 Star I’m extremely disappointed and disturbed by my experience at this Holiday Inn. While I was asleep in my room, staff allowed another person to enter without my permission. This is a serious breach of privacy and safety. As a veteran living with PTSD, this incident was especially traumatizing and unacceptable. Guests should always feel secure in their rooms, and I did not. I expected better from Holiday Inn and hope they take immediate action to ensure this never happens to anyone I now have been retraumatized. I have stayed at Holiday Inn Express on and base before and never felt unsafe. I have stayed at many hotel chains across America for 3 decades and NEVER EVER had anyone enter my room while I was asleep. Now i don't feel safe staying alone again. I don't know if the stranger was a guest or staff trying to enter my room to r-p- me. Thanks Holiday Inn for reterrorizing me once again.
