We stayed 3 nights. This was the cleanest of all the hotels we stayed at on our trip. We hung out for couple days and I observed a few things. The staff here takes pride in their work. Some hotels want the house keepers to hurry up and be done by check in. This crew might still be cleaning on our floor at 4pm. Not because they were slow, because they were thorough. This crew didn't rush through the rooms. They cleaned until the job was done. I was very impressed at how well the crew took care of the facility. It was my observation that the management holds the crew to a fairly high standard and clear that they take pride in their work. Great place for a buisness trip or to bring the family. There is an assortment of board games in the commons area. Coffee was on point and avaliable 24/7. Breakfast was pretty good as well. It seems like a safe part of the city although I'm sure there is still some crime in the area. Overall, thoroughly impressed by this facility and if we ever make our way to Charlotte again, we will return here.

I was really impressed with this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Everything was very clean—from the rooms to the hallways—and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and made check-in easy. The gym was small but had everything I needed: three treadmills with TVs, a rower, free weights, full-size mirrors, and even a water dispenser. The pool was warm, clean, and well maintained. The hotel was also very quiet, which made for a relaxing stay. I appreciated the little extras, like the welcome bag with snacks, the games in the lobby, and having both a microwave and refrigerator in the room for storing food. There’s also a laundry room on-site that takes quarters, which is convenient for longer stays. The location is excellent. It’s within walking distance of Sprouts, MOD Pizza, and a deli, making it easy to grab groceries or a meal without driving. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and in a perfect location—I highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed this hotel. It was very clean, staff were helpful and nice. The room was large and spacious. Bed was very nice. Bathroom was clean and good water pressure. Parking was a little challenging especially individuals with large vehicles taking up multiple spots (not the hotel's fault). Nice amenities and included breakfast. Overall, great holiday express location, I would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. We made group reservations for our ball team, and Joe in Group Reservations was outstanding to work with. He made the entire process easy, was responsive to our questions, and ensured everything went smoothly. His excellent customer service was truly appreciated.

We booked through a second party using our key cash, so we thought the room would be a great value. We have a 4 1/2 pound puppy that is kept in a crate, come to find out. They charged us $150 more, wow talk about taking advantage of an individual. These people are crooks. Very unethical in their charges - It’s not listed, on IGH or the third-party website, you find out when you get to the front desk. Then they wanted to give us a room that had wet carpet, $240 latter we finally have a room. For this price we could’ve gotten a lot better. Here the breakdown, using our key cash. It said 120 for the room, but upon arrival we were charge an additional $150 more for the dog. A total of $240. The moral of the story if you have a dog of any kind stay away from this hotel. Otherwise, you will be soaked with this extra charge. Also, I have been in Charlotte, all my life, and even received the key from the city, so I am a Legacy family and know quite a few people, I now will advise all my business associates to stay away from all IGH hotels especially this one in the future. They may have won the battle, but they have lost a war. In the end, this review and others will cost them more than the greed they show when they have a dog as a guest.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Florida, and it was perfect for what we needed. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and made for an easy stop during our drive. Breakfast had plenty of options, and my kids especially loved the cinnamon rolls. Overall, it was a great overnight stay and served its purpose well.

My daughter and I stayed here for a long weekend in January. The hotel was very clean and smelled great. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The maintenance guy was super helpful in making sure my cousins (also staying there) and I could watch the Packer playoff game. He really went the extra mile. The location is great and the area was quiet. I was told before we arrived that they had smart TVs - they do not, at least not in our room. But as mentioned, they were able to help us out with the game so it worked out. I will stay here again the next time I'm visiting my sister.

I stayed at this property from January 16 through January 18 in connection with a stay to play youth hockey tournament, expecting a routine and secure experience in what is widely promoted as a premier area outside of Charlotte. What occurred instead was one of the most troubling hotel experiences I have had in years, particularly for a brand with which I have long held loyalty. I am only now learning, as I write this review, that this stay was not applied to my IHG account and that I did not receive points for it, despite being a member and booking a qualifying stay. This discovery further underscores the lack of care and attention surrounding the handling of my reservation at the front desk. During my stay, my vehicle was broken into in the hotel’s parking lot. The window was shattered, personal property was stolen, and damage was sustained to internal vehicle components. I was not an isolated case. Approximately fifteen other guests experienced similar break ins, making it abundantly clear that this was not an unfortunate anomaly but a systemic security failure. This was later confirmed by the local police department. As a direct result, I am now facing in excess of $2500 in repair costs, an expense that should never have been within the realm of possibility during a short stay at a reputable hotel in a supposedly safe and well maintained area. This incident transformed what should have been a family focused weekend into a financially and emotionally distressing ordeal. More concerning than the crime itself was the hotel’s handling of the aftermath. There was no visible sense of urgency, no clear communication strategy, and no meaningful reassurance provided to affected guests. Many of the steps that were ultimately taken occurred only after persistent advocacy by myself and other guests, rather than as the result of proactive leadership or established incident response protocols. In the immediate aftermath, parents requested access to a conference room that we were told was reserved for meetings, not for the tournament, for a modest and reasonable purpose. The children needed a place to eat dinner together, and the parents needed a shared space to watch the NFL playoffs and decompress following the realization that our vehicles had been vandalized. This request was met with resistance rather than accommodation, despite the extraordinary circumstances and the fact that the space was not actively in use at the time. At no point were we offered clear assurances regarding enhanced security measures, nor were we provided guidance on how guest safety would be addressed moving forward. Ultimately, I personally paid out of pocket, in cash, to secure an additional room solely to provide parents with a private space to regroup and decompress after the break ins. Even more troubling, that cash payment later appeared as a charge on my room upon checkout, raising serious concerns about billing practices, transparency, and internal controls. While our team was fortunate enough to succeed in the tournament, the overall experience at this property overshadowed that success. Although we won that weekend, what this hotel lost was my trust and my future business. I will not return to this location, and this incident has caused me to seriously reconsider my continued patronage of IHG affiliated properties more broadly. Guest safety is not an amenity. It is a foundational obligation. In this instance, that obligation was not met before, during, or after a significant criminal event. This experience reflects a failure not only of security, but of leadership, preparedness, and accountability.

I like to get a hotel room for myself on NYE so I found this place on Groupon. I think the location is very convenient. The customer service was great! I was greeted and treated warmly by the front desk and they gave me a goodie bag which I thought was a nice touch. I was impressed with just the customer service alone before I even got to my room. The room is nice except I only have 2 complaints: the shower could have been a little bit cleaner and I wish they had Netflix or something other than cable on the TV. Neither of these were major enough for me to complain about to anyone. They had breakfast in the morning but I didn't get any because there were other people there and people scare me so I just went back to my room. I have pics but it doesn't do the room justice. I came here to relax and got what I came for and I'm definitely going back

The listing for this location shows it as a 2-star facility and should be revised to 4-star. Reliably comfortable and cozy, this location was nicely decorated for the holidays. During a very cold week, we were comforted with a soft bed, clean crisp linens and plenty of hot water to keep us warm. Notably, the housekeeping staff never stop, keeping this place spotless from stem to stearn. I especially appreciate the coffee and tea bar that is well stocked 24/7 in the hotel lobby. Front desk staff are friendly and welcoming. WiFi is fast and reliable and TV is large with plenty of content to watch. #highlyrecommend.
