We stayed here for our 44th family reunion and it was excellent! The hotel is surrounded by all types of eateries, boutiques, and shops. So you walk out the hotel lobby and you are steps to everything. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff was great! The food for our banquet was quite tasty at the banquet hall.

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. Location is good with places to eat in the Ballantyne Village and the SouthPark Mall and many dining and other shopping areas within a 5-20 minute drive.

Hotel was great. I stayed the weekend for a get away for my birthday. It was quiet. Breakfast was great!!!! I was actually surprised! The bar/lounge great spot. Bar Tender was

If you're looking for a pool, this is NOT your place. In fact, if they add a pool, it'll make this hotel 5 stars. It's beautiful and is situated in an area that's near other restaurants and stores. We didn't get any pictures of the room because we got in late and we had to get our room changed due to scratches and whatever else was on the side of the tub, but the hotel overall y'all is on point. It's very modern with trendy decor. The rooms are spacious and the hallways are super spacious. The view from our room allowed us to see downtown Charlotte and Carowinds. Guest Services was nice and accommodating as well. I did see the breakfast and do NOT recommend it because it's exactly what you'd get at some of the hotels that provide breakfast in the cost of your stay. I think they should do the same. The coffee was good and I really like the entertainment. They should do more karaoke. They have ample parking and the hotel itself is easy to get to. Their dual shower system is super confusing to use and for some reason, housekeeping only gave us 1 wash cloth for each room. Nevertheless, the service is spectacular at the front desk and the restaurant. I'll be back.

I could not recommend the AC Hotel enough to any brides looking for a room block, or to anyone generally needing a great hotel around the Charlotte area. We had a courtesy room block at the AC Hotel for our wedding in April 2026. The majority of our guests stayed at this hotel and the entire guest services team was incredible to work with. They helped us with setting up the reservation links, providing a space for myself and our bridal party to rent to get ready in, managing the varying needs and requests of our guests, and everything in between. They were incredibly communicative - responding quickly when we needed to add more rooms to our block or if someone had an issue when booking. The rooms were clean, large, and perfect for parties of any size. We had our welcome party across the street from the hotel in the Bowl and our guests loved the convenience of being able to walk there. They also loved all of the different food and drink options right near by. Even after the wedding, our guests were able to hang out in the lobby and continue catching up and celebrating our marriage.

I would stay here again. The guests are loud. Mostly slamming the doors all hours of the night. You can't blame the hotel for that, though. Other than that, I like the hotel. It was clean, front desk staff were great.

Clean Rooms, Staff was friendly, great location. Price point was good. We would stay again. Plenty of food options to walk to.

We had an amazing stay at AC Hotel Charlotte Ballantyne and absolutely loved our honeymoon suite — it was stunning, spacious, and the perfect mix of modern elegance and comfort. A special thank you to Arisel Rivera, the Sales Coordinator, for being so attentive and helpful. Shamir and Alima at the front desk were warm and welcoming, and the housekeeping team was consistently polite and kept everything spotless. Exceptional service and a beautiful experience from start to finish — we’ll definitely be back! ?

We were disappointed. Service was nice by the front desk but the heat in our room wasn't working..it was freezing....thought we just weren't using the thermostat properly( no instructions) but discovered it just wasn't working..maintenance came but couldn't fix it..they offered to move us..which they did but we were already settled in the room and in our pj's. (9 pm at night) a little inconvenient..thankfully new room had heat but not much water pressure in shower and took a while to get hot water. Toilet roll holder was broken and would spin around dumping the paper on the floor. No free coffee in the lobby..No goodwill offered for our inconvenience just a sorry about that..probably won't stay there again.

It was really nice. The insurance company I intend on working for had a very nice floor to host my interview. Unlike many lower tier hotels which may use their banquet or ballrooms as rented commercial office spaces, this venue stood out as being much more professional and elegant.
