Clean Rooms, Staff was friendly, great location. Price point was good. We would stay again. Plenty of food options to walk to.

We had an amazing stay at AC Hotel Charlotte Ballantyne and absolutely loved our honeymoon suite — it was stunning, spacious, and the perfect mix of modern elegance and comfort. A special thank you to Arisel Rivera, the Sales Coordinator, for being so attentive and helpful. Shamir and Alima at the front desk were warm and welcoming, and the housekeeping team was consistently polite and kept everything spotless. Exceptional service and a beautiful experience from start to finish — we’ll definitely be back! ?

We were disappointed. Service was nice by the front desk but the heat in our room wasn't working..it was freezing....thought we just weren't using the thermostat properly( no instructions) but discovered it just wasn't working..maintenance came but couldn't fix it..they offered to move us..which they did but we were already settled in the room and in our pj's. (9 pm at night) a little inconvenient..thankfully new room had heat but not much water pressure in shower and took a while to get hot water. Toilet roll holder was broken and would spin around dumping the paper on the floor. No free coffee in the lobby..No goodwill offered for our inconvenience just a sorry about that..probably won't stay there again.

It was really nice. The insurance company I intend on working for had a very nice floor to host my interview. Unlike many lower tier hotels which may use their banquet or ballrooms as rented commercial office spaces, this venue stood out as being much more professional and elegant.

This is my go to hotel when visiting Charlotte! Timothy at the front desk is always friendly and helpful. The bar has a cool vibe and the bartenders make every drink perfectly! The rooms are always spotless and spacious. AC Hotel Ballantyne is a must stay!

Our experience was excellent. Timothy one of the front reception staff member made it even better with the warm welcoming at check in. He’s very attentive and detailed oriented. It was our first time choosing this hotel. The community is very calm and pleasant. There is shops at walking distance. On Saturday they had a farmers market as well. The view we had from the 5th floor from the front building area was beautiful. The hotel over all is very clean and well maintained. Very elegant as well. We enjoyed the stay in a professional and calm environment. The other amenities are also pleasant to enjoy. Our room was so nice. Enough to relax and have fun. Very clean and a comfortable bed. Even the sofa bed was descent for our small kids to sleep in. The only thing we don’t recommend is to order food there. There’s no room service but not only that. The food is not their specialty. Also there was no kids menu. Is better to go out and walk to the restaurants around the area. However you could definitely enjoy a drink in the bar area in the hotel.

The rooms are spotless and thoughtfully designed, and the staff made me feel genuinely cared for. Loved the walkable location—great restaurants and shops just steps away. Perfect for a recharge or a polished business stay.

If you're looking for a pool, this is NOT your place. In fact, if they add a pool, it'll make this hotel 5 stars. It's beautiful and is situated in an area that's near other restaurants and stores. We didn't get any pictures of the room because we got in late and we had to get our room changed due to scratches and whatever else was on the side of the tub, but the hotel overall y'all is on point. It's very modern with trendy decor. The rooms are spacious and the hallways are super spacious. The view from our room allowed us to see downtown Charlotte and Carowinds. Guest Services was nice and accommodating as well. I did see the breakfast and do NOT recommend it because it's exactly what you'd get at some of the hotels that provide breakfast in the cost of your stay. I think they should do the same. The coffee was good and I really like the entertainment. They should do more karaoke. They have ample parking and the hotel itself is easy to get to. I'll be back.

Love this hotel. Have stayed twice and will be my go to when visiting family in the area. It’s quiet, great location off of the highway, not too busy and plenty of parking. Always top tier level clean, and that’s coming from a germaphobe. My only complaint is I wish there were food places open later nearby. Staff is always friendly at the desk and go above and beyond which is more than appreciated. Shout out to the very informative Jermaine and all of the lovely ladies who made our stay great.

My stay at the AC Hotel by Marriott Charlotte Ballantyne last weekend was truly heartbreaking. My wife and I arrived late, exhausted and ready to relax, especially since she is dealing with anxiety following several strokes and brain surgery. We were looking forward to a peaceful stay, but our experience was anything but. Upon arrival, the area rug in our suite was dirty, and there was no microwave. We chose this hotel based on recommendations and the rooftop restaurant, but we were woken up before 6 AM by loud noises above us, making it impossible to sleep. This lack of rest was particularly detrimental to my wife's anxiety. There was no bottled water or restocked tea and sugar in the room, adding to our frustration. Breakfast was another disappointment. I was informed it was $19.99 for the hot bar or à la carte, but they didn't have any non-pork items. I was advised to go to one of the surrounding businesses for breakfast options, which felt dismissive and unaccommodating. The day got even worse when I discovered my truck had been hit in the parking lot. The front desk showed no concern, and their lack of empathy was disheartening. The constant noise from roof construction, which started at 10 AM and continued until 7 PM, made it impossible to relax. The noise was so loud and persistent, coming through the vents like a windstorm, that it felt like we were in a construction zone. My wife just couldn’t handle it, and her anxiety worsened. Despite informing the staff, they offered no solutions or apologies and didn't inform us about the construction when we checked in. This made us feel completely disregarded and added to our stress. Upon checkout, the staff didn't ask about our stay, and follow-up promises were not kept. Someone finally called me back after I did a small internal review to keep me from doing a Google review, but I’m tired of spending money and being lied to. My stay was horrible, and no one seemed to care. The lack of compassion and understanding from the hotel staff was truly upsetting. I am requesting a full refund, the points promised to me that equal my stay for the next visit, and compensation for my inconvenience. I feel lied to and mistreated. Respectfully, WB
