This Home2 Suites by Hilton offers a highly praised, spacious suite layout and excellent 24-hour service, particularly highlighting employees like Stephanie and Sidney. However, the property suffers from inconsistent housekeeping maintenance, ranging from inoperable appliances and broken plumbing to pest infestations. Additionally, many recent guests report significant service and operational issues, including double-charging, an under-equipped gym, and a dated breakfast.
Stephanie has implemented some of the best customer service i have ever received. She was very attentive and helpful. Very pleased with her making our stay pleasant and comfortable after i had such a long travel on the road. Nice rooms and decent gym. Overall pretty good experience.
We stayed at this location for a couple of nights while in town for the Pop Warner Superbowl. The pool was closed, our room had stink bugs, and the TV did not work properly. They were down to ONE working elevator that was also used by housekeeping to transport their work supplies, and a couple of times, we had to wait extra-long for the cleaning crew to finish using the elevators since no one else could fit in there due to the size of the elevator and the large carts being used. We went down for breakfast right before 9 am and were told "it just ended" weird, every other place has items out until at least 10 am. Just seemed like nothing worked the way it was supposed to, and I feel they definitely have room for improvement. Not sure we would come back at this point.
Its always a great friendly experience at this hotel. The staff are nice and will do what they can to make your stay a good experience. And if your lucky you may e your visit their is threw one of the coolest dudes at a hotel I've ever came across. His name is Sidney Kennedy and I dont think I've ever seen him having a bad day always smiling and welcoming in the next guest. And he is also very knowledgeable about the area to. I'd say in 15 years of traveling this is probably my favorite hotel I've stayed in.
Great location, great staff and love the atmosphere there. Nice fitness center and laundry facilities. Talked with the GM about a couple of things and he immediately took care of it. The staff is top notch
This is the nicest pet friendly hotel I’ve ever stayed in. They will definitely be on my radar now when I travel. Room was spacious and had everything you need refrigerator microwave kitchen, utensils, plates, glasses, mugs, coffee maker. The staff was incredible. Breakfast was excellent. I will stay here again in a heartbeat.
I stayed at this Particular location this last weekend for my daughters 18th birthday.. Pros of this stay was Early check-in was available upon arrival.. Also, it’s plenty of food and shopping for all ages within a mile radius.. My daughter and company was able to enjoy glow night at the Skyzone Trampoline park which was located basically next door.. The indoor pool was also a plus.. The cons of this stay was The room had bugs.. Once I called downstairs The front desk agent (Melvin) did apologize as he was with a guest at the time of my call but I would say immediately afterwards he came straight to my room armed with Lysol and gloves to kill the bug.. Such a sweet guy.. Another thing Room services wasn’t offered not one time during our weekend stay. Although I was able to get the extra towels, wash cloths and tissue once I went downstairs I would much rather room service
Overall a nice hotel, but could be better. My room needed some maintenance. The heat didn't work on the thermostat, so I had to figure out on my own to use the actual unit settings. The drain cap was missing in the bathroom sink and ceiling paint was peeling off. There's no conditioner offered, only shampoo and body wash. Breakfast was low quality and all but one day there were no bananas or muffins. The sausage was dried out. The room itself was good with a refrigerator, dishwasher, and plenty of desk space. It was quiet as well which I appreciated.
I booked a handicap accessible room with a bathtub. I needed to have a bathtub and the only thing I cared about when selecting the room was the tub. I arrived and was told they had given the only room with a bathtub to someone else and I was charged full price for a room a wasn't able to properly clean in.
Should have been a very nice room, but it has been neglected. Fridge door kept popping open. Microwave light is on 24hrs (had to flip the breaker switch to turn it off). One remote to operate two TVs. Sofa bed was awful, only one pillow, no blanket. Had to ask for those and go get them myself. Room 312.
I’m a Hilton Honors member, & rarely stay at Home 2 Suites, but I’ll definitely start. This hotel is great, the King suite was perfect, very clean, spacious, & I love their mini kitchen area. It has a medium sized refrigerator & separate freezer. I appreciate all the kitchen necessities, especially paper towels. Staff was friendly & welcoming at my late night check in. The location is very convenient for shopping & restaurants. I recommend this hotel, & will definitely stay again when I visit Charlotte.
