Our family loves the JW Uptown and have stayed here many times over the years. Our favorite part (aside from dinner at Deans!) is the club level lounge. It is such a special little reprieve from our day. This stay exceeded our expectations. Maria took great care in preparing the morning breakfast and was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Many times, it is the small things that make a difference, like Maria’s beautiful presentation of the assortment of fresh berries. Another 10 out of 10 stay for our family!

Having breakfast at the executive lounge is surely wonderful. It is a beautiful quiet lounge, very well kept and the service is excellent. I met Ms. Maria and she is extremely warm and hospitable person and took a wonderful care of us. We had a great time here. Also met Christy in the evening; young kid and yet extremely responsible and respectful. Had a great stay. Location is just perfect. Would love to revisit soon.

Front desk, day time bar/restaruant staff, security (staff and director) were/are great. Willing and able to answer any questions or address any potential issues. Catering staff and Chef were great. Downside- make sure that you double check your restaurant bill/charges, as bartender tried to add another tab to our room without signing for it. She constantly forgot clients/customers requests multiple times, or their check rwqueated 3x, ours 2x... and even orders, as she was entering the to the computer as it was given to her. The restaurant issue was on a Thursday night and shouldn't have been that chaotic and as many issues as we did have. Get parking info prior to arrival. Self park cost vs $50/day valet. Host at the patio bar Jay, went above and beyond his duties and even took care of areas over at the pool, when those areas were neglected and was brought to his attention. Kudos were given to multiple managers for him and his willingness to step up. Lounge is very well attended to. Look forward to our week-long stay for a large event coming up in a few months.

The food and service have been amazing! Maria has treated us as family, making our girls trip extra special! They took care of us with exceptional delicacies and desserts from the gourmet breakfasts to the appetizers in the evening to the dessert selections after we came back to the hotel from dinner. We were treated like queens, and couldn't be more greatful.

Had an amazing stay at the JW Marriott Charlotte. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and the atmosphere throughout the property feels relaxing and upscale. A special thank you to Maria, who was such a pleasure, incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. She truly helped make the experience even better. Also, the Executive Lounge was excellent. Everything was fresh, delicious, and very well presented. You can really tell the staff takes pride in the experience they provide. Overall, a fantastic stay and we’re looking forward to coming back!

A beautiful property in the heart of downtown Charlotte. Across the street from the convention center. Checked in just after midnight, and although they honored my reservation they ran out of king rooms. Credit to the staff they were able to rectify the issue and I actually got upgraded the next day to a junior suite, plus some bonus Bonvoy points. The staff was intentional, focused and on point. Room service was amazing and the spa was so relaxing. Just wish it was a bit warmer for the rooftop pool.

The executive lounge is very nice! It was a warm atmosphere and friendly environment. The breakfast was great and Maria was a great service to us! Always checking up on us and asking to take our dishes when we were done. As for the room it is really good. You can tell that the room is thoroughly cleaned and organized. I definitely would recommend staying here for a girls trip (which is what i’m on with my mom), family trip, or even a solo trip!

Had a wonderful stay here for a quick getaway with a friend! The location is perfect—we were steps away from amazing food and entertainment, which made our trip so easy to enjoy. A huge shoutout to the valet team; their service was absolutely amazing and they made us feel welcome from the moment we pulled up. While the hotel doesn't offer a traditional concierge, the staff we encountered in person were very helpful. The only area for improvement would be the telephone etiquette. My initial calls to the hotel weren't the most inviting or friendly, and since that's the 'first impression' for many guests, a warmer tone would really set the stage for the great experience that follows. Overall, it was a great stay and a perfect spot to reconnect.

Great stay at JW Marriott Charlotte. The rooms and views were excellent, and the service in the Executive Lounge was outstanding — very welcoming. Caroline’s Oyster Bar has an amazing ambiance, but the Rockefeller oysters were small and underwhelming, so I’d skip those next time. Overall, a beautiful hotel and a very solid experience.

Frank (Bellhop) was incredible- so personable and efficient and kind. Kevin Flanagan (check in) was awesome! He was at the desk and check in and check out and made us feel so special for my birthday! ? Nicole (server at Dean’s) was AMAZING! She really made my birthday dinner a special one. The entire bar staff at Caroline’s Oyster bar was super. We just cannot say enough about how great our experience was. We simply cannot wait to return. Thank you for everything!!!
