A beautiful property in the heart of downtown Charlotte. Across the street from the convention center. Checked in just after midnight, and although they honored my reservation they ran out of king rooms. Credit to the staff they were able to rectify the issue and I actually got upgraded the next day to a junior suite, plus some bonus Bonvoy points. The staff was intentional, focused and on point. Room service was amazing and the spa was so relaxing. Just wish it was a bit warmer for the rooftop pool.

The executive lounge is very nice! It was a warm atmosphere and friendly environment. The breakfast was great and Maria was a great service to us! Always checking up on us and asking to take our dishes when we were done. As for the room it is really good. You can tell that the room is thoroughly cleaned and organized. I definitely would recommend staying here for a girls trip (which is what i’m on with my mom), family trip, or even a solo trip!

Had a wonderful stay here for a quick getaway with a friend! The location is perfect—we were steps away from amazing food and entertainment, which made our trip so easy to enjoy. A huge shoutout to the valet team; their service was absolutely amazing and they made us feel welcome from the moment we pulled up. While the hotel doesn't offer a traditional concierge, the staff we encountered in person were very helpful. The only area for improvement would be the telephone etiquette. My initial calls to the hotel weren't the most inviting or friendly, and since that's the 'first impression' for many guests, a warmer tone would really set the stage for the great experience that follows. Overall, it was a great stay and a perfect spot to reconnect.

Great stay at JW Marriott Charlotte. The rooms and views were excellent, and the service in the Executive Lounge was outstanding — very welcoming. Caroline’s Oyster Bar has an amazing ambiance, but the Rockefeller oysters were small and underwhelming, so I’d skip those next time. Overall, a beautiful hotel and a very solid experience.

Frank (Bellhop) was incredible- so personable and efficient and kind. Kevin Flanagan (check in) was awesome! He was at the desk and check in and check out and made us feel so special for my birthday! ? Nicole (server at Dean’s) was AMAZING! She really made my birthday dinner a special one. The entire bar staff at Caroline’s Oyster bar was super. We just cannot say enough about how great our experience was. We simply cannot wait to return. Thank you for everything!!!

Amelia, Carlos, and Bethany were wonderful, thoughtful, and thorough — overall, the entire staff was excellent. We had so many great encounters I wish I had written down everyone’s name! The location was great, the room service was delicious, the executive lounge was perfect for what we needed. Would absolutely stay here again!

Our first time here, even though we’ve been coming to Charlotte as a mid-point stop for decades. We are blown away by the hospitality, the service, the accommodations, the amenities and the food spaces. There is no need to find someplace to eat, and it’s adjacent to the Convention Center if you’re looking for something to do - besides relaxing your oasis in the middle of the city! Special thanks to Kisha at the front desk and Andrea in the executive lounge! Everyone talks about world-class service - but they exemplify it! We’ve found our new place to enjoy whenever we’re here!

The food and service at this hotel is amazing. The executive lounge is a 10. Maria and team presented the food beautifully and tasted amazing… Even at the end of breakfast time! I would have given a 5 star all around but the beds are really hard.

JW MARRIOT is now our favorite hotel in the city. Wonderful accommodations, very nice property and the staff went above and beyond the make sure my wife’s birthday was nothing short of amazing. Thank you to Kisha who made sure our entrance to the room surprised her with a nice happy birthday message. And thank you Maria and Robert who served us at the executive lounge breakfast. There were super helpful. Will return!!!!
