I recently stayed at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown while in town for the The Millennium Tour, and I had such a great experience that I had to leave a review. From the moment I walked into the hotel, my welcome started with Nolan and it just so happened my stay ended with Nolan as well. Talk about full-circle hospitality! Nolan was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind the entire time. He made check-in smooth, answered questions with a smile, and always made sure we felt taken care of. You can tell when someone truly enjoys helping people, and Nolan definitely brings that energy. His positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond made the stay even better. After a fun night out at the Millennium Tour concert, it was great coming back to such a welcoming environment. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located in Uptown Charlotte, which made getting around super easy. Overall, it was an amazing stay. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Charlotte.
Everything about our experience was great. Within walking distance of the spectrum center, room was spacious and nice. I want to commend the valet staff in particular. Armaan, Jonah, James, and Tiyah were incredible!! They were prompt, polite, and took good care of us. We appreciated their communication and the conversation. Would definitely recommend!!! If we come back, we hope to run into the same friendly employees.
I had an excellent experience at the Hilton Uptown this week with every aspect of my stay, from the clean room to the dining experience and front desk. I'd like to spotlight the valet service since I interacted with them every day. The attendants were professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient! They handled my vehicle with care and made the entire arrival and departure process smooth and stress-free. I really appreciated Armaan kicking off each morning off on a positive note. I would absolutely use their service again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and courteous valet service.
Decent hotel in a convenient location. I love that you could access either the YMCA gym next door or Planet Fitness a few blocks away. Only downside during my stay is that the floors are laminated and not carpeted which gets extremely cold during winter. No bedroom slippers were provided either. Regardless it was a nice stay and will definitely consider this hotel again if I’m ever in Charlotte
My experience with the Hilton Uptown Charlotte began with Faith and ended with Nia and Kristen. It was the best customer service I have ever had with Hilton. They were very attentive to every need. They responded to every email and phone call promptly. The valet attendant Amaan was outstanding. Always smiling, courteous and prompt. Front desk staff also, express great customer service. I will recommend this Hilton to any future guest. We had a women's convention this past weekend and all of them have great reviews. No complaints. It was over 2000 women in attendance. Classic Hilton hotel in a good location in Charlotte. A 2-minute walk from South Tryon Street, one of the main streets with shops, restaurants, and pubs. The rooms are renovated. They have two large single beds, hardwood floors, and a large desk. There's no wardrobe, only a coat rack. A coffee maker and a small refrigerator are provided. There are also two armchairs and a small table. Air conditioning is, of course, available, and the temperature is adjustable. The staff is professional, although you should expect waiting times for check-in and check-out depending on how busy it is. There's a restaurant on the 3rd floor, but don't expect anything gourmet. A large, well-equipped fitness center run by the YMCA is also located on the 3rd floor and is free for guests to use. Highly recommended!
Stayed over a long weekend for a volleyball tournament. The hotel is beautiful, staff was welcoming, and the location is great and in walking distance to so much! Everything at the restaurant was delicious and the servers were great! The rooms were clean, beds were comfy, and had cool views. The rooms could use a small upgrade to include a microwave and a fridge that stays cold. Our valet, Armann, was incredible!! He was so kind, packed our car with care and gentle handling of all items, cleaned every bit of the 10” of snow off our car, made sure it was warm and ready to go, and sent us home with complementary bottled waters for the ride. I would recommend a stay here anytime!
I enjoyed my stay at the Hilton and it was perfect for a corporate awards event. The food was good, ballroom was very elegant, and the staff was very attentive. Armaan at the Valet made my trip - I was a little overwhelmed with the parking situation but he was very patient and displayed amazing customer service. He made sure we did not have to wait on getting our car from the valet & always greets us with a kind, welcoming attitude to ensure we were enjoying our stay.
Very disappointing experience. I was charged three times for my room in error, and instead of compassion or urgency, I was met with sarcastic and dismissive service. Customer service showed no concern for the inconvenience this caused. To make matters worse, I paid $25 per night for parking, yet there was no parking available. Paying for something that isn’t accessible is unacceptable. Between the billing errors, lack of accountability, and poor customer service, I would not recommend this hotel.
We stopped into her hotel on the way to a meeting and had the pleasure of dining in your restaurant. We would get we got great service from your server Dominque and also your doorman Arman. Each was very professional and impressive. You’re lucky to have employees of that caliber. Treat them right so they’ll stay.
