Guests consistently praise the friendly, accommodating staff and the high quality of the free breakfast, but some recent reviews highlight issues with cleanliness, room soundproofing, and occasional unprofessionalism from specific employees, while one guest noted water damage in their room.
I had a great stay at this hotel. Big thank you to Nihad and the rest of the staff for the warm hospitality, everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The environment was comfortable and relaxing, which made the stay even better. Everything felt well taken care of, and I genuinely enjoyed my time here. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.
Excellent stay for my work travels. Nihad from the front desk went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Nihad fixed an error (my jobs fault) in my reservation immediately and even communicated with my spouse who wanted to surprise me with flowers at the front desk. He kept them safe until I returned from work and even helped me carry them up (THEY WERE HUGE). Excellent customer service. So friendly! Also the breakfast is perfect every morning!
Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating-- we were traveling as a large group and didn't get in until late, then requested some extra time before checkout the next day so we could get showers before hitting the road! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great experience for our team!
Dear Hampton Inn Management, I am writing to share my recent experience during my stay at your Monroe, NC location. This was my first time visiting a Hampton Inn, and unfortunately, my experience was not what I expected from your brand. Upon arrival, I was met with a dismissive and unwelcoming attitude from the front desk associate named Brian. While I observed him being warm and polite to other guests checking in, his tone and manner toward me were noticeably different — curt and unprofessional. At one point, when I asked a simple question, his response was, “What does that have to do with me?” which I found very disrespectful. I came to stay for a business trip and hoped for a pleasant and professional experience, but this interaction left me feeling disheartened. Every guest deserves to be treated with equal respect and courtesy, and I hope this feedback helps ensure better customer service for future guests. Thank you for taking the time to review my concern. I would appreciate a follow-up regarding how this matter will be addressed.
Rooms are clean, staff pleasant, but the beds were a little too firm for me. Location is a nice little vibe. However, the walls are paper thin, and some of the guests have absolutely no consideration when walking through the halls day or night. Other than that our stay was a good one and I’d definitely book here again!
we were so pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the bed was how soft the pillows were how wonderful the sheets were. The place was immaculately clean, and the air conditioner was the coldest air conditioner we have ever experienced in a hotel….anywhere!!! That was important because the heat index outside was 109 when we were there. also, we heard very little noise around us. The room felt like it was almost soundproof.
Was visiting the area and looked for a Hilton property! This location was great, easy to access and the hotel was clean and quiet!! Raquel and Lisa were wonderful and very hospitable! I will most definitely return!
The hotel is in a quiet area. The grounds are kept clean and manicured. The general areas inside are clean and neat. They have a lot of seating options in the lobby for working, lounging or eating. There are also semi-private cubicle-like booths that are more private, with a printer. A gym and outdoor pool. There are two large tv’s with guest control in the lobby too. The room unit is clean and comfortable with nice sized bathroom. The best feature is daily complimentary breakfast. Their options are far none than I have seen before for comp breakfast. Everything made was hot and tasty. The option for a waffle or up to 4 mini waffles is a cute convenience. The scrambled eggs and potatoes were delicious. My person and I were both pleasantly surprised at how good the food was and the plethora of food options. .. options we like. Oh! All day, guest have access to complimentary bottled water at the front desk and access to hot beverages table all day. Hot water, Teas, 2 flavor of coffees, decaf, and hot chocolate. Of course, all the typical condiments, even honey. And a bottle of creamer as well as the mini creamers. Another major and pleasant convenience. I would highly recommend this hotel at this location. If visiting the area again, this spot is my first choice. It’s not fancy, which is fine. It’s comfortable, quiet, clean and modern enough. And they allow pets!
This was a terrible hotel to stay in. We were there for a hockey tournament. As we came in to check in the lady behind the counter Lisa, said today isn't a good day and was completely rude. I assume it was the manager who must have heard and came out to help her check me into my 2 rooms. Then they said no kids downstairs after 11pm. These were 16 and 17 yr old boys. But upstairs on the 3rd floor the kids were running up and down, banging on rooms and screaming after 11pm. Nothing was done when told them. Then we lost power Saturday night for about 3 to 4 hours. Still nothing done. Breakfast was terrible. Honestly all together the worst place ever. Do not go here. Pick a different hotel that will accommodate you and your team or family.
I have stayed at this hotel when I would come visit family for at least 7 years. However, my last stay was not a pleasant one. The room I checked into had obviously water damage in the room. I was very uncomfortable and asked for another room. They advised me unfortunately, there were no rooms available. They offered me a discount if I choose to extend my stay but in the same room. Management did not offer to give me a my type of discount for my stay after I addressed my concerns. I will not stay at that location any more.
