I’ve stayed in some gross places, and while this wasn’t the worst, it wasn’t great. The room was dirty with a used Band-Aid on the floor, the hallway stunk of construction, caulk and paint. I asked the front desk to request housekeeping to get the used Band-Aid Out of my room, and that didn’t happen. I’ll sleep elsewhere next time.

We booked this room because it said it had a heated indoor pool. It was ice cold and the water was not filled. The room was clean but really dated. Some of the outlets didn’t work. TV was old, could not stream anything. Took a long time when switching channels.

My family and I recently stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Huntersville. It’s rare these days to meet someone who genuinely cares about their work and the guests they interact with. I had to speak up and applaud the outstanding service we received from Jacoby Mackey. We had been traveling a long way in the rain and were feeling pretty beat down, but Jacoby completely turned our mood around. He naturally anticipated our needs and made our stay effortless. I’m writing this because I hope Marriott realizes what a star they have on their team. The next time we’re driving through town, we’ll be looking for him—and honestly, this employee should be handling guests at the Ritz-Carlton. ??

Settled into the room, left for a while came back to a chemical odor. Tried to tough it out but childnjad a severe asthma attack. Room changed to one with a non functioning television. Drinks at the bar were below substantial. Watched them mixed and define not worth the money. Bloody Mary, no celery, 1/2 shot of vodka.

Visited friends in Charlotte, NC. Stayed here. Hotel was clean and quiet. Basic rooms but nice. Surprised there was no complimentary breakfast offered. About $9 a person. Bin Evan's is right next door.

I booked at courtyard because of the restaurant and bar. The website said it had one, yet they didn’t have the proper licenses to operate either. There were signs everywhere saying stop by the bar for happy hour… yet no alcohol or food. The elevator needs to be replaced it was super janky. And as a gold member was place next to it. Asked to be moved but had to wait for a wedding party to be arranged with welcome gifts. Asked for first floor got third. Was never thanked for my bonvoy membership. 2nd worst stay at a Marriott and I’ve lived in one for a full year.

Not very clean.... Very poorly maintenence....! Being run by dot management And run straight into the ground....... Steer, clear, find a different place. It'll be a much more enjoyable stay.

The day & night shift staff were all very friendly and helpful. The bed was the most comfortable I have slept on in quite a while at a hotel. The room was very clean, and my stay was very pleasant overall, no complaints. I would gladly recommend it to others.

I’m appalled with the staff at this establishment. After I arrived, I simply was waiting on someone to invite me up to the room and the front desk person harassed me to no END! He told me I had to check in when I reiterated multiple times I was waiting on someone. In an attempt to avoid conflict, I waited outside in my car. After I was told the room number, I walked back in and he basically ran from the back of the courtyard to stop me while I was getting on the elevator. He told me that I wasn’t supposed to be there and asked me to get off the elevator. I told him I’m going to the room I’m supposed to go to. He tried to tell me it was a “private” hotel and He insisted I was lying and didn’t have a reason to be there and was going to call the cops. I have been to multiple hotels. I have NEVER in my life had a hotel front desk person follow and harass me simply because I walked in and was minding my business. He asked me to get off the elevator and I told him no..I’m going where I said I was. He told me he was calling the cops and GOT ON THE ELEVATOR with me still harassing me and sarcastically insisting I was lying. I told him when I get to the room, he’s going to look real stupid and he better stop harassing me after that. I get off the elevator and he follows me to the room door. I get to the room knock on the door. The person that was waiting on me answered and I asked her to confirm that I’m her guest. She confirms and FINALLY he leaves me alone and walks away looking like a complete FOOL. I was definitely profiled by what I assume is due to my racial ethnicity. I am utterly upset with the staff here and will be reporting him to HIS manager. I strongly advise if you are of a minority race to be careful staying here from the Indian man at the front desk.

The room was very nice and clean. They even had complimentary bottled water. Orlando, the front desk person, was so nice and helpful. He gave me really good advice on how to resolve a Marriott issue I had with another hotel. He totally went above and beyond and wanted to make sure I was taken care of, even though it wasn't his hotel that I had the issue with. Would definitely recommend this hotel and I hope they give Orlando the raise he deserves!
