This hotel offers a convenient location near the airport with friendly staff and a functional restaurant, though guests frequently report issues with parking fees, lack of amenities like microwaves, and inconsistent shuttle service.
I don’t usually do reviews, but this was the most disappointing Holiday we’ve booked. Just for other folks to be informed, there’s no microwaves in any rooms, room service doesn’t come unless you ask the front desk yourself for a restock/cleaning, you have to pay separately for any car parked in the lot, and even though we booked the breakfast, in the morning we had to request the desk for breakfast vouchers to enter the dining and coffee area. The proximity is great to the airport! The staff is nice, they’re just doing their job, but whoever owns this franchise gives a very stingy impression. There were more “cheap” things we saw, but for benefit of the doubt, the aforementioned were the most frustrating.
Stranded due to flights and booked this hotel. Texted to get shuttle, was told one would come, but after 20 minutes, I bought an Uber (it was very very cold and stiff wind). Upon arrival at the hotel, the 2 shuttles were parked against the building and weren't being used. Enjoyed the morning shuttle to the airport and learned that this hotel shares a shuttle bus with Home2Suites and adjacent Hampton Inn.. Note, desk reception was solo and she was very busy checking in customers, took about 30 minutes to check in after being dropped off by Uber. Rooms were dated, but clean and all, incl. bathroom functional.. I do miss days when we had bars of soap that I used to shave my face. Not a bad spot, but don't bank on a quick pick up at the airport...
I'm most frustrated with the parking here. You do not get a choice, you must register your information with their app to Park your car. If you do not agree to the user and privacy data terms and conditions you cannot parks here. The hotel cannot take your payment nor can they give you a receipt for payment. You must wait until after you leave the hotel to get a confirmation of payment, which means you have no way of confirming you paid or registered the following morning. Finally you wait waiting and hoping after you leave the hotel that you actually get a receipt. Be prepared to sell your information and waste your time registering so that you can pay them more money just tp Park.
It is located right down the road from the airport and provides shuttle service. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a restaurant on sight which has tasty options so no need to anywhere to grab a bite. Highly recommended.
Rooms are clean however, the bathtub overflows which is not great. I do like that they are using Dove products. You have to pay for parking which is quite ridiculous imo. Breakfast is not included; a bummer. There was only one receptionist when we checked in and her attitude was terrible. She clearly does not like her job. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels to know this one by far has been the worst yet. My first and last time staying at this particular Holiday Inn.
Everyone here makes your stay welcome. Front desk are always very helpful and friendly 100%! Shuttle is always in point, fast and ready. Restaurant (bar tender) she is wonderful woman! Always helping everyone and great service.
Service I gave 3 stars because after traveling for over 9 hours I got to the front desk and it only took a few minutes for someone to come to the desk but my issue was as soon as she came out of the office she got on her cell phone and was talking to another associate by the sound of it and asking her about her schedule and other stuff and tried to check me in at the same which I ended having to repeat things twice to get them correct. That phone call should have waited till after she checked me and the other person in. After all that it took 3 rooms to get one that had a working air unit and that wasn’t occupied the first room the air unit made a terrible noise and didn’t cool that room then they assigned another room which I heard a tv going in that room so I went back a third time and finally got a good room. I don’t exactly blame them for the room issues( now the one supposedly vacant but wasn’t I don’t know if she made a mistake and tried to act like someone was using the room that shouldn’t be or what). She was as nice enough to give me a breakfast voucher.
I stayed at the Holiday Inn Charlotte-Airport Conference Center for one night and really liked it. The location is perfect, very close to the airport, and the free shuttle made it easy to get there. The staff were kind and helpful. My room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bed was very nice, and everything worked well. The restaurant and lobby are nice places to relax, and there are good food options nearby too. Overall, it’s a very good hotel for travelers who want something comfortable and close to the airport. I would stay here again.
Fabulous staff! I just wish they had the room with usb ports. Other than that this is a great hotel to stay closed to the the airport clean and beautiful rooms
The headboard of the bed kep knocking on the wall on every movement i made, the worst is paying for parking and $18.95 breakfast! This is Ridiculousness! And dont even mention that these fees are to cover maitainance of the Property, i have seen Hotels in better Shape that dont charge for all this, THIS IS STRAIGHT OUT LUCRATING from their customers!
