Construction was going on. Without my knowledge, not being told of this before hand, we were given 2 suites, on the construction floor. Almost $500. Elevator door opened, we were taken aback, thought we were in the Hotels basement. Front Desk, said, no other rooms available. We treated through the workers , the boxes, the piles of tiles, the dirty carpets and got into our rooms. Ask if your room is on the 5th floor before you accept it. The room had minor issues, A toilet so low. You'd think it was for a 3 year old. It was hard to turn the bathroom water on, bathtub was stained. Living room lamp flickered, had to replace bulb . And for 4 of us, there was a half roll of toilet paper. No extra roll. And they brought up 1 roll after I had to use my cell phone to call the front desk, because phone in room did not work! Dirty windows Bed was good, no bed bugs! For almost $500, I expected more from a Hilton related Hotel. Hampton Inn & Suites, I'd like a partial refund for what we recieved.

Stayed this past weekend (in Thursday out Sunday - was supposed to stay till Monday and had enough) and had nothing but problems. As a long time HH member who was diamond status for 8 years prior to this year and a hilton grand owner, I have never been so disgusted to have any association with Hilton. The only employee who actually seemed to care was the assistant manager and maintenance man, neither of which sadly could properly address the biggest issue. The manager and all other employees could care less that a guest was seriously ingured due to an issue that maintenance admitted they knew about... Checked in, was given our key, went to the room, opened the door and the room was occupied. We were mortified. Next day, tried to take a shower, 30 minutes of trying to regulate the water temp between freezing and scalding, thought I finally had it, got in, next thing I know my back side is hit with scalding water. By the time I was able to turn it off my entire front and back had scald burns. Told the front desk, showed them the burns, asked to fill out an incident report, lady was clueless. Asked for the manager to reach out to me. It's now Monday, no manager has reached out. Spoke to the assistant manager who assured me after seeing picture of the burns that the manager would be in contact, guess what, nope. The hotel lobby, halls, and elevators had trash everywhere. The phone in our room didnt work. We had maintenance up there 4 times in 2 days from all the issues in the room. Apparently they have been having phone and water issues and are renovating, none of which is mentioned when booking or checking in. And for management not to reach out after a known by them water issue scalds a guest is unacceptable. I will be speaking with one of the lawyers at work for next steps and filing a report with the health department this week. Absolutely unacceptable response, or lack thereof, and behavior on behalf of management.

I went to North Carolina from December 7th to 9th. My stay was ok. At the hotel there were a bunch of kids and the hotel got really noisy. There were some adults watching these kids and they were all looooud even after 1 am, and the people from the front desk did nothing about it. The room had a humidity problem. The smell sparked some symptoms of allergies to my husband. Also, I could notice mold in the curtains and exterior parts of the lamps, and the hallway floors were a mess once we arrived there. The food was good and the location is great.

VERY happy with our stay here. Easy check-in process and room was clean. Fantastic shower water pressure and clean linens. The breakfast was amazing with so many options. The best we’ve seen in quite a while!

Nitin, Hema, and Shiv are incredible partners in the hospitality industry. They own several hotels (including Hampton Inn & Suites) that we proudly service for waste, and working with them has been an outstanding experience. They are super kind, hospitable, and truly professional. My colleague Devon and I have collaborated with them to adjust services during times of extra capacity, and they’ve always been communicative, accommodating, and solution-oriented. They even invited us to their hotels, giving us the opportunity to learn firsthand about their waste challenges and work together on improvements. These three are leaders in the Charlotte area hospitality space, and we’re proud to work with them!

First time staying here, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Even with renovations about to start, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable when we had an issue with our first room. Danielle, the manager, was absolutely amazing- I got to see how much she juggles, and let’s just say she definitely deserves a raise! The maintenance guy was running circles helping everyone, all while keeping a smile on his face. Jenny and Jeremiah at the front desk were just as awesome- friendly, patient, and so helpful. With a team like this, we’d gladly stay here again!

I recently stayed 3 nights at the Hampton Inn in Pineville, and as a Diamond member with 73 Hilton nights this year across many properties, this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. Upon entering my 2-room suite, only a single light bulb was working, leaving the space poorly lit. The room carried an overwhelming stale, musty odor, and the furniture felt old and neglected. Dirt was visible on the floors—something that could have been resolved with a simple vacuuming. The condition of the bedroom was shocking. Curtains and bedding were covered in stains, the door had visible fluids on it, and the vanity had toothpaste residue. The shower, sink, and even the sheets contained hair. The overall appearance made the room feel filthy and unsafe. The cleanliness issues weren’t limited to the room. Throughout my stay, trash was left by the elevator and a floss pick remained in the hallway—never cleaned up. When I voiced my concerns at the front desk, the employee seemed unconcerned, almost as if these issues were expected. I requested a manager to call me, but no one ever did. I even left a voicemail for the manager, which went unanswered. For a Hilton property, this level of neglect is unacceptable. In fact, I’ve experienced far better care at budget motels. I cannot recommend this location, and I strongly advise looking elsewhere if you value cleanliness and responsiveness.

I personally reserved two rooms across from one another for a baseball tournament and our team staying here! Hotel looks amazing from the outside and even into the lobby, but that's it! Our beds were comfortable and the breakfast was great, everything else needs help! There was liquid and mold coming from the electrical outlets! Metal, sharp bed rails sticking out from mattresses and they have clearly been an issue before, because one had old fabric wrapped around it and taped! Our digital room keys wouldn't work so they issued us card keys and they stopped working the next day! We sat at the front desk for almost twenty minutes before help showed up and she acted as if it was no big deal! She issued us new room card keys and said they were deactivated due to remodeling, yet there were absolutely zero signs of remodeling taking place! I will definitely not stay here again and wouldn't recommend it!

Most doors don’t open with card, none open with app except room. No microwave in room- one in the lobby for the ENTIRE building. Hotel is mostly clean, hvac works, and in a quiet area. However, higher rated than deserved.

I booked 5 rooms, three nights each. Definitely not Hilton quality! A/C didn't work. The front desk said, "All you got to do is plug it in." Why was it unplugged in the first place? So I go back to the room, have to move the bed, lay face down on the carpet (yuck), grab a flashlight so I could see, and reach under the AC unit to plug it in. All kinds of nastiness under there that the vacuum missed! Room smelled of overpowering air freshener (what are they hiding?). Can see outdoor light thru the wall where th AC unit is. Looks like they had a big gap between the window and the AC unit, so they shoved a strip of pink carpet in there to fill it! At night, the AC unit strobes a bright blue light all night. Fortunately, I slept in the bed farthest away from the unit, but anyone close would have difficulty sleeping with that flashing light in their face. All the electrical outlets were so worn that whatever you plugged in would fall out easily. Lamps in the room all wobbly, bathtub had some pink slime/mold in the middle of it. Towels weren't soft, the mattress wasn't comfortable, and the TV didn't work. On the plus side, the pillows were nice. This was the experience with my room. My coworkers had similar issues, but I will let them submit their own reviews if they wish. I do not recommend this Hilton property and will NOT book there my next trip to Pineville.
