They claim you are told at check-in that breakfast is not free. They do not. Nor is there a sign. It’s all a ruse. Was surprised a bill was plopped down in front of me. $30 for my wife and I breakfast of lumpy grits and hard overcooked sausage. Unfriendly service to boot.
Hotel is conveniently located off interstate when traveling. We stayed there twice on our travels home from WV. On our last visit, the hotel was undergoing some upgrades in construction so we were excited about enjoying the upgrades this time. The room is nice but one cup coffee maker was horrible and we could not seem to get the thermostat in the room to adjust and room was very warm. We were excited to eat at the restaurant as it was very nice and we had not had an opportunity to eat there on our first visit. After a long day of travel, we were looking forward to a nice hot meal. Unfortunately the food came out cold and we had to change our order twice. When we told management all they replied was that we were not charged for our meal and to try them again on our next visit. We did not expect to be charged for a cold meal that we did not eat. As a Hilton Honors member I am very disappointed by the response we received from management, “Stephanie.” At a minimum, I would have expected to be offered a free appetizer to give the restaurant another opportunity to earn our business. As it stands, I will not order food at the restaurant and am wavering on whether I will even stay there again. If we do stay there, I will definitely opt for the Chili’s restaurant next door. It’s convenient and at least you can count on good warm food!
If you are coming to the area look no further… clean and spacious room! Friendly staff!! Has a restaurant on site but it closes early…chilis is right across the street not even a 2 min walk. Great hotel!!
Good place to stay and i will stay again. Located by many walkable food locations and a shopping complex. Everything was clean and friendly staff. Hot breakfast served and rotating daily.
The hotel is rated as a 3 star hotel, but really should be rated 4 star with 3 star prices. There is a pool, large fitness center, market shop in the lobby, excellent cook to order breakfast or buffet style, and a restaurant and full bar on site. The hotel is close to many dining options as well as retail stores. The staff are extremely courteous and friendly and ready to help and assist with any issue that may come up.
While waiting for repairs to be made to my truck I stayed at this location. It is absolutely beautiful hotel with spacious rooms, an amazing breakfast bar and bistro and evening bar. The staff went out of their way to make sure my stay was without any issues. The breakfast bar was great with a changing menu daily. In the evening the bar opens up for local favorites and drinks. Outside the bar you will find a spacious patio area with a fire pit surrounded by comfortable seating. High speed WiFi is offered during your stay and if you find yourself needing printing services they have a dedicated printer for guest use. There are several different restaurants within a short walk and for those like me who enjoy a good cigar there is Palmetto State Cigars only a half mile from the hotel. You will also find a Target, Moe’s and Panera Bread all close by and a Chilis right next door. If you don’t want to leave the property the bar also has amazing food cooked to order. If you happen to find yourself in the Rock Hill area and need a place to lay your head you will not go wrong with this Hilton location.
Disappointed in the way a recent issue was handled during my stay at this establishment. A sentimental item was left in my guest room and, unfortunately, was not returned. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve this matter, I received no meaningful follow-up from the housekeeping department supervisor which lead me to contacting the General Manager. With the General Manager did reaching out to extend his apology to me and my daughter, the experience has nonetheless caused considerable dissapointment and left me questioning the level of respect and care shown to guests. I had trusted this establishment to provide not only quality service but also the basic courtesy and accountability that every guest deserves. With all this said, I would give this establishment another stay.
The room itself was spacious, well furnished, with all the essential amenities. Quiet and neat common areas. Generous breakfast. Comfortable bed, although it was not made up any time after check-in, (except by me) although we were there three nights. Even after I requested housekeeping, it did not happen. When I asked if I could at least have the trash taken out, I was told to set it outside the room. The front desk ladies were apologetic, saying they were short staffed. Still, it’s rather shocking that Hilton cannot figure out how to provide the very basics of a hotel stay: clean sheets, fresh towels, trash removal, even for a three night stay. Rates should be reduced or guests should get a partial refund if they just get a room and no housekeeping, even after it is requested.
This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room and bathroom were very spacious and very clean. I loved how they had the TV display " Welcome Deborah" as I entered my room, that was really cool! The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was amazing! We will definitely stay again! Thank you for a wonderful stay! ?
I recently stayed at this hotel while attending a wedding in the area. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast bar has an assortment of food options. Overall, I highly recommend this property.
