It had been many years since staying here, and I didn't know whether the management had kept it up in good condition. I I was very pleased with how clean everything was. The furnishings and fixtures were all pretty much new, and there was no evidence of bugs, no mildew, no stains, everything was very well kept up. The cabinets and doors were the pretty old, but that didn't really make much of a difference. The location is pretty quiet, and the interior is quiet too especially for how full it was when I was there. The free breakfast buffet was pretty good, but I decided to skip the egg pucks. I would definitely put this on my short list of places to stay when visiting south Charlotte.

Comfort Inn & Suites Ballantyne/Pineville exceeded my expectations. The room was extremely clean, comfortable, and very well kept. The hotel’s location is also fantastic — close to everything you need in the Ballantyne/Pineville area, including restaurants, shopping, and major highways. A special thank you to Ed, the General Manager, who made the experience exceptional. He is incredibly kind, attentive, and truly goes above and beyond for guests. He listens carefully to customer needs, responds quickly, and works hard to resolve any issues promptly and professionally. It’s rare to encounter someone so dedicated to guest satisfaction. His leadership and customer service made a huge difference in my stay. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return!

Definitely NOT #1 in Pinevile. We've been to this hotel as a family for many years on our way down to a Florida cruise or on the way back. We've reached our limit. Even though the price is good and this hotel is #1 on TripAdvisor in the area, the room is starting to show its age. The paint is chipping off of everything wood. There is a lot of dirt in the corners. The halfway smelled a combination of mustiness, cigarette, vape and marijuana smoking. Our room had that spray smell they use. The carpet seemed dirty and NOT vacuumed as well. All in all, we decided this will be our LAST visit to this hotel location.

This hotel is just okay. We stayed 2 nights. Front desk wasn't very welcoming. The room was clean enough but had an odor to it. The lamp was unplugged. All 4 USB charging ports by the bed did not work. The shower head was so loose that my partner had to tighten it up with hos fingers. The hair dyer doesn't blow air but gets hot. The bathroom was updated fairly nicely, but you can tell the building itself is dated and showing it's age. The breakfast was decent bht the breakfast room gets crowded really fast. 2 waffle makers. They had original waffle mix and a cinnamon roll waffle mix which was good. Yogurt, bread, bagels, little poppyseed muffins. They had eggs and sausage both days and biscuits and gravy. Not fabulous but decent enough to fill up before heading to Carowinds for the day. The food seems to run our fast, like the fruits and yogurts and they don't refill them so go early. The area was nice and we felt safe. The rooms were affordable. Check in was quick and easy.

The online images do not match the actual building. It's not as nice or well kept. Our window didn't lock. The room was clearly not cleaned well. We switched rooms and it was much better. Breakfast was ok. Options and quantity was limited. It was more like a snack bar than breakfast buffet. We choose hotels by two main things, cleanliness and breakfast. We were deceived by this one.

I left my sneakers in the room and called up there immediately after I left to ask them to hold them for me, of course the “head housekeeper” didn’t see them. So yeah be careful they will still your stuff?? and the room was barely clean. Had cups stains on the nightstand?

Comfort Suites, Pineville/Ballantyne I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past, and while my experiences were generally fair, my most recent stay was extremely disappointing. Upon entering the room, I immediately noticed several issues: - The lights near the bed and sink were not functioning, making the space inconvenient and poorly lit. - The couch was worn out and had a visible cut in the back, giving the room a neglected appearance. - The nightstand handle was broken, further adding to the sense of disrepair. - Most disturbing of all, the bedskirt was soiled, which is an unacceptable lapse in housekeeping standards. These problems reflect a serious decline in maintenance and cleanliness. What used to be a fair option for lodging has now become a place I cannot recommend. I was shocked by the poor housekeeping and lack of care, and this experience has completely changed my opinion of the property. I will not be booking here again, and I strongly urge managemen...

Great for the price, around 150 USD per night. Clean and comfortabl with ample rooms. The included hot breakfast is got scrambled eggs, sausage, hot cakes and grits. A great stay when going to Carowinds.

Good location. Rooms were clean and breakfast had decent options . The gym was in a bad shape and definitely needs improvement. Ideal for short stays and good value for money.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The room smelled strongly of mold the moment I walked in. The odor was clearly coming from the A/C unit, and when I checked the filters, they were filthy. It was obvious they hadn’t been changed or cleaned in a long time. That’s a serious health concern. The furniture was in terrible condition. The pullout couch, chairs, bench, and even the bed looked extremely old, worn out, and neglected. The bathroom was no better; the bathtub had visible rust, and the toilet barely flushed. This room should not have been rented out in its current condition. It reflects extremely poor maintenance and lack of basic standards. I was uncomfortable the entire stay and left feeling frustrated and disappointed. I will not be returning, and I would strongly caution others to reconsider before booking here.
