Re: Crystal Location: 7230 Smith Corners Blvd Dates of stay: 06/12/26-06/14/26 To whom this may concern: In this day and age when it is commonplace to complain as most want a paycheck but frown on doing the work I am writing to sing the praises of your general manager Crystal. My family and I (in numbers ) arrived at your establishment to find that someone on staff was not clear on the definition of "Wheelchair Accessible " Fatigued by the long drive in I made no fuss over the issue. We awakened Saturday morning to prepare to bury one of my grandsons so again, no fuss was made. My son Rodney on the other hand approached Crystal with inquiry wherein Crystal immediately gave her full attention to the matter and with a genuine smile on her face. Crystal went above and beyond with a new room assignment and our overall comfort for the remainder of our weekend. She made what could have been a miserable experience a quite pleasant one. When an individual can alter the mood of a group of people, I count that as a gift and a blessing. We have decided that Smith Corners Blvd will be our home when visiting again. I am sure that Crystal meets, greets and cares for all of your guests in this fashion which makes her an asset to your establishment. We had booked a room across the street at a horrible hotel. Check in person was super nice. The rooms were so bad. We chose to forfeit the money and found this amazing place. Yes, it was double the price but worth it! Check in person was awesome! Room was clean and comfortable. I'm more than satisfied! Definitely stay here!

As an IHG Platinum Elite member, I had a very pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Charlotte North. The location is extremely convenient, right off I-77 and close to I-485, making it easy to access both Uptown Charlotte and the Lake Norman area. The property was clean and well-maintained throughout my stay. Breakfast was the typical Holiday Inn Express offering, but everything was stocked, fresh, and kept organized by the staff. I was also pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade, which I greatly appreciated as a Platinum Elite member. Most importantly, the room was comfortable, quiet, and provided a great night’s sleep. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for the money, a convenient location, and solid service. I would gladly stay here again when traveling through the Charlotte area.

Terrific stay. Clean rooms, friendly helpful staff, whisper quiet room with feather-soft pillows and a really decent breakfast included with the price of the room. Very pleasant atrium lobby....I'd stay here again in a flash. *tremendous friendly gent on the desk May 14th evening, and may 15th morning. Super!

Had a one night stay before early travel the next day, comfortable room and beds with great service and good array of breakfast items in the morning. I thought the inner open concept of the hotel lobby was beautiful and kind of nostalgic in a way. The downside was our nextdoor neighbors were a little louder, but nothing I couldn't sleep through

Don't stay in room 213. It's directly above the main entrance door. I heard the door slide open and closed all night. It was the worst night ever! The bathroom sink didn't drain. The sad thing is that there were very few people in the hotel so they could have given us a decent room.

Beautiful hotel inside and out. Outside is well-lit and there are security cameras which give an added feeling of safety. Lobby is clean and inviting. Front desk clerk (Porsha) was professional, friendly and efficient with our check-in. Room itself was clean, quiet and odor-free. Hotel was fully booked but we never heard any other patrons. Bed/pillows were clean and quite comfortable. Bathroom/shower were clean and fully functional. Breakfast was basic but good quality and it hit the spot. If l am in this area again soon l will definitely return. What a nice hotel!

Truly was hoping for a great stay and it was NOT. Traveling during the holidays is stressful enough checking into a hotel should be the least stressful part of it. After letting them know of issues and the AGM informing me her would make sure everything was done and it wasn’t is just sad. Carmen the GM was not of any help and I had to contact corporate in regards to this property. You aren’t even able to tell what was “deep cleaned” because everything still was NASTY ! ?

My stay here was a very pleasant stay. I had asked for an early check in and the front desk clerk Crystal assisted me with no hesitation..She was very polite nd courteous throughout my whole process. She was also very knowledgeable on the area, when I asked her about a few places to go. FYI..there is a club in walking distance from the hotel..Also housekeeping kept my bed made up everyday nd me with fresh towels..The breakfast was decent, nothing to call home to mom about but the serving area was very clean. The food did satisfy the early morning hunger to get you started for the day, I can say that. My overall stay I would rate it a 9.5/10..

This is my 3rd time getting poor breakfast here,, sausage gravy is watered down to the point there is no flavor, the bacon burnt Beyond eating.. I've talked to the front desk twice this time im doing a review.. The front desk personal are awesome, from crystal to any others I e dealt with. This time Portia checked me in very pleasant and accommodating. . Besides the poor breakfast I love this place, but I stay at IHG holiday in Express
