Guests consistently praise the Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte/Ayrsley for its location and hospitality team, noting specific employees like Rose and Shy go above and beyond despite mixed feedback regarding room maintenance. While staff interactions are repeatedly described as friendly and attentive, several previous guests reported issues with room amenities, cleanliness, and wall thinness.
?If you’re staying at this hotel, do yourself a favor: get downstairs for breakfast and hope you’re lucky enough to be seated in Rose’s section. ?While the buffet and menu are impressive, Rose is the true "secret sauce" of the morning experience. It’s rare to encounter someone who is as genuinely lovely as they are quick-witted—especially before the second pot of coffee has kicked in. ?Why Rose Stands Out: ?Sharp Humor: Rose has a gift for playful banter. She handled our table’s morning grogginess with a razor-sharp wit that had us laughing before we’d even finished our fruit plates. ?Proactive Hospitality: She doesn't just take orders; she anticipates needs. Our coffee was refreshed at the exact moment we needed it, and she navigated a busy floor with total grace. ?Effortless Charm: There’s a warmth to her service that feels authentic, not scripted. She makes a large hotel dining room feel like your favorite local neighborhood spot. ?The Verdict: ?The breakfast here is great, but Rose makes it memorable. She brings a level of personality and energy to the table that is far too rare in hotel dining. She is an absolute credit to the team!
Here’s a polished 5-star review you can post: ? ????? My experience at the Hilton was absolutely top-tier, and that was largely because of our incredible server, Rose Hudson. From the moment my fraternity brothers and I sat down, Rose brought an energy that was warm, witty, and genuinely inviting. She has that rare ability to make you feel like a valued guest rather than just another table on her shift. Her personality was the perfect balance of professional and personable. She kept us laughing with her quick wit while never missing a beat when it came to service. Every request was met with a smile, and she anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. That level of attentiveness is something you don’t see every day. What stood out most was how accommodating she was to our group. Traveling with fraternity brothers can be lively, but Rose handled everything with grace, patience, and class. She made sure everyone felt taken care of and truly enhanced our overall experience. If you’re dining at the Hilton, do yourself a favor and ask for Rose Hudson. She’s a true professional who brings excellence and personality together in a way that turns a good meal into a memorable experience. Hilton is lucky to have her!
Had a great stay. What was most enjoyable was my server in the morning. Rose was her name, she worked so hard and made sure I was well taken care of. She is the best!
Great hotel, but most importantly the staff was so incredible, kind and FUN to interact with! I stayed for 4 days and every person at the front desk actually engaged, beyond welcoming, we joked around and they all made me look forward to seeing them! Every morning at breakfast Ms. Rose was very helpful a pleasure to engage with and made the mornings bright!
Stephanie and Amaranta were absolutely amazing. They were active, attentive, and consistently checking in to see if we needed another drink. You can tell they genuinely care about the customers and the overall experience. Their energy and friendliness made everything even better. Customer service was 100%. they went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of. I’ll definitely be back because of them!
We had breakfast at the Hilton Garden Inn located in Ayrsley. Rose was our server and she was absolutely lovely. Rose was exceptionally kind and made us feel so very welcome. She was attentive to all of our needs and had a warm smile to go along with her cheerful disposition. Our overall stay was wonderful…clean and spacious room, excellent guest services, and I highly recommend the hotel. If you have breakfast, look for Rose because she’s amazing!
Ms. Rose the Dining buffet server, is very nice woman with outstanding customer service. She keeps you smiling the entire time. She's great with assisting with your order and accuracy of your order. She makes sure you leave satisfied and smiling, gotta love her hospitality. She's a valuable asset to the company. Thank you Ms Rose
This hotel is nice looking but the walls are SOOO thin. No exaggeration, I could hear the person next door blowing their nose. I could hear every single conversation from the rooms on both sides. Then we could hear the vacuum cleaner above us and people walking. It made for a restless experience ?
Front desk service is doing a ton of lifting here. Very friendly, informative, communicative, everything you'd want out of staff. The room (305) needs work. Small issue with the top outlet behind the chair in the corner that light is plugged into not working. Pillow case with yellow stains on it (pictured best I could). Towels with brown stains and hair attached. One of the coffee cups had a hair in it and some little black...I don't know what. This may not be on them as it was fresh out the (not sealed) plastic sleeve though. Bed lights are a bit out of whack, possibly due to being loose or damaged as they aren't great at holding position. The bathroom very clearly has moisture/water damage issues, and a tiny fan that doesn't seem to actually turn on. Hilton needs to get these folks the money they need to make the rooms as good as the lobby and match the level of service you're getting from the front. It also being in a nice area is the only reason for a four rather than three.
Convenient stopover on our way to Atlanta. Great location. May return to spend more time in the area. We appreciated the bar and restaurant within the hotel space. Our breakfast host/server Rose was a brilliant, funny and welcomed blessing to start the day!
