I would like to give huge accolades to Mr. Eric Dunn, Manager of Residence Inn and AC Hotel. Considering the magnitude of responsibility for this combined property, Mr. Dunn was not only attentive to our request, but that of other guests in our immediate area. He has the respect of his staff, which I'm sure is testament to his management style and mutual respect for his employees. Mr. Dunn's professionalism and rapid response to our request is greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten. Ms. Angela Front Desk was great. Bailey the mixologist AC Lounge, best Margaritas and LimeBerry Mocktails ever. But the highlight thus far was meeting the AMAZING Ms. Alise during our breakfast experience. Ms. Alise is a ray of sunshine to this property. She has a guest first focus talent that cannot be taught. It simply exudes from within. The biscuits she made were phenomenal. Ms. Alise has a genuine ability to make the guest and the breakfast dining environment at this property warm, pleasant, and centric with class and an elegance that is purely natural. I trust Marriott corporate family knows and acknowledges the gem you have in Ms. Alise. Thank you!

The staff is extremely professional and friendly. My room was cleaned regularly without asking, and the cleaning staff kindly cleaned the dishes in the dishwasher without having to be asked. The breakfast selections were great, and Alisa would provide great service as well as a pleasant conversation. The rooftop lounge provides a great view of Uptown, and this truly was a very pleasant stay!

Rooms were spacious and clean, and location is great. Located right across the street from the basketball arena. Continental breakfast is an added bonus, which isn’t included often. One worker, Alisa, went above and beyond. She was very welcoming, helpful, and friendly.

Eric at the reception was such a lovely host. Whenever we stopped by for extension/ billing related questions , he was very helpful. Enjoys his work and it reflects in how well he does it. Alyssa at the breakfast is super helpful. So congenial and welcoming! So is the entire staff. We were here for nearly a month and it felt like home. Kudos!

This hotel is super nice!!! Located in the perfect downtown spot!! Rooms are so nice, very clean (big factor). The staff is so nice and goes over and above!!! Very friendly and helpful!! Very welcoming!! Alisa who is one of the staff members took great care of us at breakfast. She is so nice, genuine and caring!! You can tell she loves her job! I stayed one night at Residence Inn Charlotte City Center and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is very well located in a central and convenient area. The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet, with a really nice view—perfect for resting after a long drive. I would especially like to mention Alisa from the breakfast area, who was incredibly kind and helpful. She went out of her way to help us with fresh fruit for my two-year-old, who loves sliced apples. She kindly cut the apples into thin slices for him and offered us fresh fruit, which we truly appreciated. We stayed only one night to rest and continue our trip, but we enjoyed the hotel so much that we will be returning in a few weeks. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was very good, and overall it was a great stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

Im a Hilton member and before our trip I checked all the Hiltons and was disappointed with the reviews. I took a chance and stayed here and I was so pleased. It was clean and the bed were comfortable,nice full equipped gym, nice views. We were hungry but too tired to drive. I found a food court with in a 5 min walk. Breakfast is included and Alisa made sure we were taking care of. To be truthful I picked this place because what guest were saying about Alisa and they were right. I’m a Marriott member now and I wish I didn’t waste my time and money with Hilton. We travel quite often and spent over 10k with them in 2025. Not anymore. Thank you! We will be coming back.

We had a great stay!! Clean, well kept and friendly staff— shout out to Taylor who checked us in! Special shout out to Alise or Alissa (I hope I spelled that right— apologies if I didn’t)…she helped us in the breakfast area. She is an EXCELLENT addition to the staff! She is a culture carrier and is the model for service excellence!! Kind, attentive and anticipating the needs of hotel guests! Well done Alise, you made our stay end on a high note!! Ive been staying here since 2020. This will always be my go to spot. Beautiful views, comfortable beds and it’s close to everything. I reserved a room for my uncle’s girlfriend’s bday and they enjoyed every moment. Brian helped with getting us the room we wanted, Katelyn helped was with an enjoyable check in, Taylor is the best and kept the atmosphere warm and pleasant and Sydney welcomed us in with open arms. If I had something bad to say I wouldn’t become they made up for it. My favorite rooms are the 15s because of the view. If you want a great view in a nice comfortable hotel this is it!!!
