really like and thoroughly enjoy this hotel. all the employees i've interacted with are the best. personable, friendly, helpful and welcoming. brithany, emma, daz and steven at frontdesk are very pleasant and accommodating. at breakfast and weds evening, ysabel, elizabeth, ana and karina couldn't be better. they all do so much to provide a great experience. and do it so well. in addition, maribel, juan, charlie and daniel are always busy helping to make all run smoothly. many thanks to all.
Loved my stay at this Hilton. The staff was amazing and very helpful especially the kitchen staff YSABEL & KARINA. They went above and beyond to help me . The front desk was great too. On Wednesday they offer free beer?,wine?and snacks. I will definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Charlotte NC.
I’m a Hilton Honors member getting close to Diamond status, and I chose this Homewood Suites again because my first stay here was great. Unfortunately this visit was a very different experience. My vehicle was broken into on the first night. The window was smashed and valuables were stolen. I had parked right in front near the main entrance because I assumed that would be the safest area. Finding that right before a business meeting I needed to attend made an already bad situation worse. When I went to the front desk to report it and ask them to call the police, the response felt pretty indifferent. Police ultimately told me I needed to make the call myself, which I did. From conversations with more than one staff member, it sounded like break ins are not unusual here, which was surprising. There are not many recent reviews mentioning this, so it caught me off guard. Hilton’s automated “how is your stay going” text came the same day. I rated it low and gave a time I would be available to talk after work. I was asked if I could be available earlier because my time did not work for them. I never received any follow up after that. The room itself was clean and everything worked, but I was put in a wheelchair accessible room without requesting it. The layout made things awkward, especially the shower and the TV angle. I am not someone who usually complains, so I just dealt with it. Because all the local glass repair shops were booked, I had to leave my vehicle unsecured the rest of the stay in very cold weather and now have a six hour drive home with a broken window. Between the hotel cost, repairs, and stolen items, this ended up being an expensive trip. I understand hotels are not legally responsible for vehicle theft, but when incidents happen regularly, some visible security presence would go a long way toward guest peace of mind. Based on this experience, I will not be staying at this location again.
I had to travel to this hotel for a business - upon my arrival, there was a mistake made with my reservation. Emma at the front desk was very hospitable and helpful. She assisted me with my reservation and was both kind and funny throughout the process. The hotel and were very nice - both spacious and clean. I would recommend for anyone thinking about staying!
Emma and Dazmen exhibited excellent customer service!! By far, Emma is one of the best front desk attendants I have experienced. She handled all of this with such grace. Dazmen answered our concerns promptly and as best he could. Very nice-sized rooms. Great breakfast.
It was a good stay...only hiccup is the elevator. Only kne was in operation and it took sooooo long. Came back jn fir the night snd there was a line from elevator to the lobby. Took 3 rounds to get on an elevator. That information would have been helpful at check in....wouldn't have picked 4th floor. Otherwise, everything else was good
Very nice hotel with HUGE rooms! Staff was extremely friendly! Best part was not having to throw away a Book of Mormon from my hotel room, because the Hilton family hasn't opted to force feed their beliefs on anyone else. Can't say the same for the Marriott family!
Rooms were fine- it felt like a nice place but there was hair left on the shower wall and the dresser drawers would. Not. Stay. Closed. There was a little nightlight in the bathroom area of the room and I felt like it was a nice touch to have in the room. Did not use the kitchenette or livingroom so cannot speak to cleanliness there
We had a great stay here and it was dog friendly! The rooms were clean, very spacious, and quiet. It felt like more of an apartment! The suites came with a large fridge, microwave, and electric stove top. It came with a hot breakfast option in the mornings as well. There’s lots to do in the area and walkable to a brunch and dinner/bar spot. It was near grocery and mall. Great location!
Had a very nice stay.. room was super clean and customer service was top notch. The lobby area was very comfortable. This location is perfect for local businesses, restaurants and other shopping interests.
