0/10 would not recommend booking with this hotel location. My stay initially was booked for 5 nights and 1 day and in 24 hours there were major cockroaches in my hotel. I was reimbursed for 1 night but the general manager Marcell blatantly ignored the issue and was CONVENIENTLY “unavailable” upon both requests to speak with him and he was on site. The assistant general manager Fred was available and very sincere and apologetic when I physically brought the issue to him. The roles should be reversed in my opinion. Corporate (Ishmael) only made excuses for Marcell and stating that he was busy but since they reimbursed me for one night that was the only way in resolving my issue with not being acknowledged by the general manager. I stated that there are more ways to acknowledge/address the situation at hand other than an in person conversation, and it has been 48 hours and I have not received a phone call, email or any other response which is absolutely unacceptable.

I stay in Charlotte often for work, and Home2 Suites by Hilton Charlotte Piper Glen is always my hotel of choice. The location is excellent, just off I-485, and surrounded by convenient shopping and dining options. Directly across the street at Stonecrest Shopping Center, you’ll find Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, as well as Harris Teeter and Target, which makes longer stays especially convenient. The rooms are consistently clean, well - maintained, and comfortable, and check-in is always quick and efficient. I’d also like to specifically recognize Benjamin at the front desk. His customer service is outstanding. He greets guests with a genuine smile, is always professional and attentive, and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure a great experience. He is truly an asset to this location. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to continuing to stay here during my regular visits to Charlotte.

We stayed here over Christmas while visiting family. Our room was very clean & had no issues with the room or kitchen at all. Everyone at the front desk was friendly & helpful, the breakfast was good as well. We stayed on the 2nd floor and it was very quiet. Would happily stay here again.

I stayed here at the Home2 Suites this past weekend for a wedding I was going to and the experience was amazing. One thing besides room conditions I keep an eye out for is customer service, and late at night it’s hard for me to sleep period. The staff was very kind and welcoming, and a personal thank you to Sam who answered every question I had and helped me the best she could. 10/10 experience.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights on our way to Orlando for vacation and wow. We are so glad we chose this hotel! Every team member has been kind and sweet, the room was beautiful and clean, had everything we needed and more. The on sight laundry was amazing. 2 dollars for the washer and 2 dollars for the dryer. The parking was secure and safe. If we didn’t live so far away we’d be back again. We really enjoyed the free breakfast as well. So many options. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will return if we’re ever in the area again.

I stayed at this property while visiting a friend in the area and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel grounds were well-lit, clean, and well-maintained. Check-in was prompt and efficient, and the staff provided a warm welcome upon arrival. My room was spotless, smelled fresh, and was clearly well cared for. The bedding was clean and comfortable, and everything was in its proper place. The breakfast was enjoyable, though fairly standard for this type of property. The only issues I encountered were that the ice machine on my floor was out of service and I noticed a live cockroach in the fitness room. Despite those minor concerns, my stay was comfortable and convenient, and I would stay here again in the future.

Have not had a real vacation in years and decided to go out for a weekend. We saw the reviews and it has a nice shopping center in front of the hotel and thought it would be great. 1st night we went in saw hair everywhere in the shower, bathroom floor, kitchen floor. There was hair on the back pillows in the bed and one part of the bed smelled musty as in BO musty. That morning as I’m getting ready I went over to the nightstand to grab something and see something moving on my pillow I go to check to see what it was - a bed bug. Immediately called the front desk. Dominique offered to move our rooms and we asked to move completely far away from that side of the hotel. We got into the second room, it looked a lot cleaner. No sign of hair and looked a lot better than the first room. Checked the bed and saw nothing. The desk chair had crumbs and other debris on it. We lugged all of our things into the new room and went about our day. Came back after a long day at Carowinds and we’re getting ready for bed, I hop into the bed and guess what I see. ANOTHER bed bug on the pillow AGAIN, it’s moving and I’m just horrified because I’m thinking there’s no way this is happening. We are so tired and ready to sleep and but did not feel comfortable sleeping there. So we pack up leave and go down to the front desk and calmly explain what has happened and asked that we please just be checked out and refunded for the stay. The woman said she could not refund me for the previous night and for me to call the reservation line. Did not at all apologize for the issue or express any sort of sympathy that it was almost midnight and now we have to find another place to stay. She did check us out and said she would refund us for that night. It had been a very eventful weekend not the way I planned and was a huge inconvenience.

Great hotel, we were in town for a wedding from Ohio. Digital check in was amazing and we by passed stopping at the desk all together. Breakfast was a nice spread. Fruits and milk, a fresh yogurt machine, waffle station, bagels and other breads, banana muffins too. They had warm case with cheese omelettes, breakfast potato wedges, sausage and bacon. I took a better picture because I don't think it was well captured in other reviews. The indoor pool was the only downside. We have 2 littles 4/2 I specifically booked this hotel for the indoor pool and it was too cold to swim. We told the front desk and the had someone reset some controls but it never warmed up. The gym was great, my husband and I both used it. Overall plenty of space and good breakfast, friendly staff.

Excellent appearance Less than content.... half empty lotion, no hair conditioner, strange lighting arrangement in the room, breakfast was ok but not well set up not well stocked and lacked seating... and the sliding door of the bathroom was dirty when it was closed.... lack of detail on that cleaning... yuck

I have stayed at Home 2 Suites often. The Staff and Manager, cleaning Crew, Maintenance people have been incredible. Always friendly and want to make sure you have all you need. The rooms have always been are as clean as a brand new home. I have also felt very safe. Thank to all the Staff there.
