Home2 Suites by Hilton Charlotte Piper Glen generally receives positive reviews, with frequent guests praising the convenient location, friendly staff, and well-equipped rooms, particularly noting the full kitchen facilities and complimentary breakfast. However, recent concerns have surfaced regarding cleanliness issues, particularly bed bugs and debris, alongside staffing problems and inconsistent service.
Absolutely loved. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The hotel was spotless. Even the scent inside was inviting. We stay at quite a few hotels and this is in the top 5 for sure.
We chose to stay here bc we've stayed here before, we truly enjoyed. We checked in 8/9.....great check in, great customer service. 8/10 the young lady working 1st shift at guest services was dishonest simply bc she didn't want to do her job. Asked her if you guys have complimentary toothbrushes, accidentally left mines home. I did the same thing last time, young man gave me a little bag no problem. This young lady says no we dont have any. Spoke with housekeeping on my way back up and asked her, she went downstairs, went to the desk, opened a drawer full of toothbrushes. The young lady working front desk says oh I didnt know where they were... lie. So as we are checking out, no one is at the front desk. There is a young lady standing in line, says she's been there for 15 mins.....we stand in line for another 15 mins .....she was missing for about 30 minutes. She was rude, untruthful, and needs to work on her attitude. I did not catch her name but she definitely needs some training
I stayed here for a one-night business trip and overall had a good experience. The hotel is in a great area with a shopping center right next door that offers plenty of shops and restaurant options. The room was mostly clean, though the desk chair had a few noticeable stains. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I hoped—it felt slightly slanted, leaving me feeling like I was leaning toward the floor. Lastly, the breakfast was just okay; I personally prefer the spread you get at a Hampton Inn. Overall, it was a solid 4-star stay for a quick trip to the Charlotte area.
Awesome hotel!!! Staff was outstanding too, rooms great, spacious and everything you need in them. Big microwave, big fridge, kitchen sink, dish washer you can even ask them for something to cook with if you wanna cook in your room. Nice location convenient if you wanna walk to shopping center. Eating places nearby, quiet nice neighborhood. ??????????
I've stayed here now probably 6 times and I've never had any issues. The staff is always really nice. I've dealt with Rachael the last couple of times I've checked in and she is always incredibly nice and professional. Reasonably priced. The location is great. There's a shopping center right across the street with tons of food options. The rooms are always clean and I've never seen any bugs or experienced any problems with the rooms. I really like that the rooms have a full kitchenette with a full size refrigerator. I can't stand the crappy tiny mini fridges most hotels use. The breakfast is really good compared to other hotels around the same price points. Most places offer a couple of muffins or cereal. They normally have multiple different options like sausage, potatoes, grits, waffles, etc. Can't go wrong staying here.
Room was not as described. Beds (one was actually a pull out couch, not a bed) were extremely uncomfortable. The bed is honestly the most important thing about a hotel room, but I am way more outraged at the deceptive pricing online. It males you feel as though you are made to pay for the room twice and leads the customer to believe the room is half the price. And sadly the quality of this room/hotel was not worth even half what I ended up paying for a "suite" We will never stay in a Hilton again, from now on we are using Marriott ONLY. Hilton sucks.
Best getaway for me! Very nice and peaceful hotel. My room was perfect! Willie was absolutely amazing and Dominique was awesome as well. If I find myself in the area again, I will definitely stay here Lord willing ?? 10/10
This hotel was excellent! I stayed this weekend for my son’s basketball tournament. The room was very clean, the room was very spacious, and the staff were very friendly. I didn’t try breakfast, but the kids liked it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends and I will definitely be back again!
0/10 would not recommend booking with this hotel location. My stay initially was booked for 5 nights and 1 day and in 24 hours there were major cockroaches in my hotel. I was reimbursed for 1 night but the general manager Marcell blatantly ignored the issue and was CONVENIENTLY “unavailable” upon both requests to speak with him and he was on site. The assistant general manager Fred was available and very sincere and apologetic when I physically brought the issue to him. The roles should be reversed in my opinion. Corporate (Ishmael) only made excuses for Marcell and stating that he was busy but since they reimbursed me for one night that was the only way in resolving my issue with not being acknowledged by the general manager. I stated that there are more ways to acknowledge/address the situation at hand other than an in person conversation, and it has been 48 hours and I have not received a phone call, email or any other response which is absolutely unacceptable.
I stay in Charlotte often for work, and Home2 Suites by Hilton Charlotte Piper Glen is always my hotel of choice. The location is excellent, just off I-485, and surrounded by convenient shopping and dining options. Directly across the street at Stonecrest Shopping Center, you’ll find Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, as well as Harris Teeter and Target, which makes longer stays especially convenient. The rooms are consistently clean, well - maintained, and comfortable, and check-in is always quick and efficient. I’d also like to specifically recognize Benjamin at the front desk. His customer service is outstanding. He greets guests with a genuine smile, is always professional and attentive, and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure a great experience. He is truly an asset to this location. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to continuing to stay here during my regular visits to Charlotte.
