It's the first Springhill suites that didn't have suites in contrast to the hundreds i have stayed in..in the past. They were simply rooms. I was disappointed indeed. I cannot in good conscience write a complimentary review. I cannot fathom staying there again and I have been a very loyal bonvoy member that books Marriott but this experience I will equally remember. I wish I could do better but I have to embrace honesty in reviews

Clean, nice hotel located in a good location near many amenities. Rather secluded. Breakfast was very good, with very friendly staff helping with the breakfast. Rooms ample size and with a refrigerator. My only issue was check-in where clerk was having personal conversation on Airbuds while also talking to me -- hard to know when she was asking me questions or the person on phone.

I am a Hilton Suites loyalist 100% but was pleasantly surprised with my stay at this Mariott location. Hotel lobby and rooms were very clean! Front desk staff was happy and friendly. The location can be tricky coming in from W.T. Harris but everything is tricky from that crazy busy street. Only thing is no one can compete with IHG's beds and bedding. So that's why I can oy give 4 instead of 5. I missed the comfort of my Hilton bed. Other than that, will happily book again at this location.

We really enjoyed this location. We had to wait for someone to check us in and we arrived at noon-1210, which was our check-in time. The front desk staff was friendly and seemed available during the rest of our 3-day stay. The rooms are spacious but most importantly (to me) clean and quiet. We had no complaints about our rooms. Nice showers (with super water pressure), separate mirror/makeup area, ample closet, comfortable bed as well as comfy couch, nice kitchenette area with fridge, microwave, sink, and coffee... basically anything you need. This came in handy for reheating restaurant leftovers! TV is decent sized for room, lots of channel options, pivots to where you are sitting. Nice views outside as well. Biggest complaint - other than that one wait to check in - is the constant smokers hanging out right outside the front door. We walked through that in the a.m. and p.m., so it seemed to be a 24-hour thing. Other than that, nothing but good comments for this affordable location. We will visit again when in the area.

I came to this hotel for the first time and left my jacket in the room hotel staff refused to let me get it and told me they will give it to me the next day. They never did call me and then I requested a manager. The manager never called either. The front desk staff said they will check on it and call me in twenty min never did and it’s days later they never called me or returned my item. I guess the staff really needed/wanted my coat.

The rooms are very well designed, and the hallways and lobby are beautiful as well. The overall look and feel made it seem like an upscale hotel, yet the cost was excellent. The location was convenient, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. I stayed on the top floor and did not hear any noise, which allowed me to sleep very well in a comfortable bed and peaceful setting. I was thoroughly satisfied with my stay.

Really old mattress on the king bed. Breakfast OK. Relatively quiet except for the typical air-conditioning unit. Fitness center door difficult to open. The window opened if you can get a room on the parking lot side of the hotel do it.

I had a great two-night stay at this hotel. It was very quiet despite being close to a highway, and I had no trouble sleeping. The breakfast was great; lots of choices for hot food. They still clean the rooms every night, unlike most hotels that have switched to an "every 3rd night" system. If I had to complain, I'd say the remote control for the HVAC system only worked occasionally, so I mostly adjusted it using the buttons on the wall unit. Also, the bathroom fan was very loud. But that's just nit-picking; overall I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Not far from PNC Music which was why we were in Charlotte. The shower gets hot quickly, so you can have a nice hot shower. Free breakfast.
