This property offers a modern, spacious design and convenient location, frequently praised for a comfortable bed and quiet atmosphere. However, consistency is a significant issue, with reports of unresponsiveness, mismanagement, and instances of unclean rooms or pests.
I came to this hotel for the first time and left my jacket in the room hotel staff refused to let me get it and told me they will give it to me the next day. They never did call me and then I requested a manager. The manager never called either. The front desk staff said they will check on it and call me in twenty min never did and it’s days later they never called me or returned my item. I guess the staff really needed/wanted my coat.
The rooms are very well designed, and the hallways and lobby are beautiful as well. The overall look and feel made it seem like an upscale hotel, yet the cost was excellent. The location was convenient, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. I stayed on the top floor and did not hear any noise, which allowed me to sleep very well in a comfortable bed and peaceful setting. I was thoroughly satisfied with my stay.
Really old mattress on the king bed. Breakfast OK. Relatively quiet except for the typical air-conditioning unit. Fitness center door difficult to open. The window opened if you can get a room on the parking lot side of the hotel do it.
I had a great two-night stay at this hotel. It was very quiet despite being close to a highway, and I had no trouble sleeping. The breakfast was great; lots of choices for hot food. They still clean the rooms every night, unlike most hotels that have switched to an "every 3rd night" system. If I had to complain, I'd say the remote control for the HVAC system only worked occasionally, so I mostly adjusted it using the buttons on the wall unit. Also, the bathroom fan was very loud. But that's just nit-picking; overall I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Not far from PNC Music which was why we were in Charlotte. The shower gets hot quickly, so you can have a nice hot shower. Free breakfast.
If I could give this property ZERO stars. I typically do not stay at Staybridge properties but in this instance, this particular property was one of few that had accommodations in the area due to concerts that were taking place. I am traveling for business, so upon checking in , I went to my room and begin to work, not giving the room the once over that I usually do when I enter. I sit at the desk (which is oddly situated behind a wall) work about 45 minutes, then I decide to go out for dinner. I go into the restroom before I leave and the toilet seat is up. I reach to put it down and it is covered in dried urine and spots of feces splatter. I immediately packed my bags and go downstairs to address the issue with the person at the desk. I informed them that if the toilet was not clean, that it was likely that the rest of the room was not adequately cleaned either ,and that I would be checking out. I asked for the manager Steve whose name was listed on the business card as the General Manager so that I could assure that I was not charged for the stay, and was told he was on vacation. The desk attendant took my name and number and I was given the name of another manager Tristen who was to be calling me back the next business day. After not receiving a call, I call the property asking to speak to this Tristen and was told that he is off. I have yet to receive a call to first of all address the poor cleanliness of this property or the possibly off accruing unnecessary charges. The property is dated, obviously not clean, and could use a facelift and remodel. I will never make reservations here again, and would advise that others don’t either. I have stayed at other Marriott properties and this one by far was the worst and an embarrassment to the Marriott brand.Needless to say, I was fortunate enough to get great accommodations at the Hyatt around the corner!
Very good experience. This hotel is well managed and it shows. The gentleman that appeared to be the manager was awesome. The breakfast was on of the best I've had at a Springhill suites and the staff worked hard and was clearly well managed. Thanks for making this stay nice
Rooms are spacious, however more attention to cleanliness is needed. The location is great near the interstate and plenty of restaurants.
Very clean, staff was incredible, especially Sierra/ front desk Mike/ maintenance Yani / Staff When back to this area I will return. Location excellent Loved the breakfast
First the good: Location That is the only thing decent about this hotel. Older hotel that was refurbished with budget being the only concern. Budget hotel with a beyond horrible overnight staff. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else, the Fairfield nearby the budget brand of Marriot is dramatically better. No way this is a "3 star hotel"
