Guests consistently praise the hotel's exceptional location near dining and the bowl, as well as its dog-friendly policies and cleanliness. However, recent experiences indicate significant noise disturbance issues and outdated room amenities, creating a mixed guest experience.
I enjoyed my stay here. There was a slight issue with housekeeping that was due to a misunderstanding and the front desk was very accommodating. It’s in the perfect location near tons of food options and the bowl. Check out my TikTok @catchmechilln for a more detailed review of the room!
I took a few of my kids here for a quick getaway. The staff and rooms were excellent. My kids loved the indoor heated pool as well. It’s also the perfect location; walkable to tons of restaurants. We will be staying again.
They made some great design choices and some poor design choices. Great is the fact that you can leave the ac on constantly blowing fan. Poor is the frosted glass in the shower facing the bedroom. Basically you can’t shower if you have your children in the room with you. The location and staff are excellent.
Excellent stay. Fantastic customer service, and not only dog friendly, but dog welcoming. Rooms were clean, which is my #1 concern when staying away from home. Very convenient location in a nice area that’s close to several restaurants.
We stayed at an Aloft in Jacksonville Fl and Charlotte because the rate was good, no fee for our 2 small dogs, a ground floor room to get the dogs out quickly, and great pet relief areas around the property. The room was excellent--clean, roomy, lots of counter space for our stuff and low beds. Service was excellent. The hotel didn't have cooked to order breakfast, but the grab and go had what we needed for breakfast and lunch on the road at a reasonable cost. I would only ask for a Keurig in the room, but we did find that they put out free hot coffee by 5:45 AM. We ate at Flower Child next door (great!) and had ice ream too nearby. This was the perfect hotel for us!
A few weeks ago was my first time staying at this hotel while in town for an event. The staff is amazing. The room was fresh and clean. The location was perfect and parking was plentiful. But ... What I liked the most about this hotel is that they are one of the few, who doesn't charge a fee for pets. This is very considerate especially with the current climate that we are in. Because of this as the main reason, amongst the other reasons listed, I will continue to stay at this hotel in the future and I highly recommend this hotel to others.
We love this hotel but noticed some changes from our last few visits. I appreciate security, but it was heavy. The bottom door where we walked our dog at night is now locked at 11pm. This door has a lock and must be opened by a room key to begin with, and is in plain view of the front desk so I do not understand why it can’t be used at night. There was also a security van blocking the only entrance that hadn’t been barricaded. Every time we came in and out after 11pm we had to tell the guy we were guests. This just makes coming and going awkward and weird. One would think a hotel in such a nice area could do a gate with a key card opener. It seems they are trying to deal with security issues in a weird way. It was not good for me personally and will definitely influence my decision to stay here again. This really stinks because it’s our favorite place in Charlotte.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the amenities exceeded my expectations. The location was convenient, and everything was well-maintained. I would highly recommend this hotel and definitely stay here again. Just they don't offer Breakfast
I went there for a work trip and I absolutely loved this location. The desk was there 24/7 when I needed to add a snack to the room it was effortless. It's so close to the bowl and there are so many places to eat there. They even had live music and the artist were great also. Truly a great experience
Unfortunately, one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The staff was friendly but the beds and pillows are terrible! The AC/fan in my room was not working the first night and the noise from people outside, in the lobby and in the hallways made it impossible for me to sleep. My time here should have been relaxing and it was far from that. The hotel is in an affluent area of Charlotte yet doesn’t feel like it belongs. It’s a slight upgrade to a Hampton Inn, in my opinion. I’d never stay here again nor recommend this hotel to anyone.
