Guests report a hit-or-miss experience largely dictated by the unsavory area surrounding the property. While some recent visitors praised the cleanliness and affordable rates, others documented severe maintenance failures, inconsistent management responses, and health and safety concerns.
The photos do not match the actual hotel. Not in a good part of town where homeless wander the street looking for handouts. Beds were extremely firm with undersized pillows. The hearing and air never kept an even temperature. The water pressure in the shower was woeful. You need to be let in to the 24 hour fitness center be staff. An everlasting smell of cannabis throughout the hotel. I was alone but would have left if I had my family with me.
Stayed in Feb 2026. Their van was broken and didn't pick us up at the airport, so we paid $40 for a cab ride; motel wouldn't give us a credit. The next morning there was no coffee ("supplier issues") and no breakfast ("restaurant being renovated"). There was no manager on site to approve a credit or help fix these issues. (for example, go to the grocery store and buy coffee for the lobby). I asked the clerk at Raddison to have the manager call me. No call. No credit issued for services not provided.
I had a very frustrating experience with this hotel and would not recommend staying here. Earlier in the day, I called at 12:09 PM to ask about the airport shuttle and was told it runs every hour. After landing, I called again at 3:52 PM to confirm the shuttle would arrive at 4:00 PM and was told yes. When the shuttle did not arrive, I called again at 4:13 PM and was asked whether I had specifically requested it. I explained that I was never told a request was required and was informed earlier that it ran hourly. I called again at 4:39 PM when it still had not arrived, but no one answered the phone. After repeatedly calling, I used a private number and someone finally answered at 4:43 PM, saying the shuttle was on the way. The shuttle did not arrive until 5:17 PM, meaning I waited nearly an hour and a half. Upon arrival, the issues continued. The phone in my room did not work, and I was initially assigned the wrong room number. The room had two queen beds but only one comforter, which was stained and ripped. The room was also advertised as having a microwave, but there was none available. Additionally, the WiFi throughout the property did not work. The business center computers could not connect to WiFi, and I had to use my personal hotspot. To print documents, I was required to send them to staff to print instead of using the business center myself. The surrounding area also did not feel safe or welcoming. Overall, this stay was extremely inconvenient and disappointing. Based on this experience, I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel to otherI had a very frustrating experience with this hotel and would not recommend staying here.
Do not book this hotel!!! I booked as a package deal on Priceline, and typically Radisson hotels are nice. NOT THIS ONE!! From the hotel staff to the atmosphere… I knew to be prepared. There was a homeless camp at the end of the road, fire truck there at 1am, suspicious activity all weekend. Let’s just say, I’m glad I decided to check my pewpew in my checked bag and carry while I was there. Room was not clean. Kept my do not disturb on my door and made sure no one went in my room the few times I had to leave. Will never stay there again and I don’t recommend anyone else saying there.
I did look at the reviews prior to booking. I actually went to the hotel as well before I booked. The hotel look to have just had some renovations, so I took a chance based on that. I was pleasantly surprised with the stay. It was not in the best area, but once you drive past the sketchy area it was ok. Rooms were renovated nicely as well as the hallway and lobby. The restaurant was closed for renovations. Now the hot water took about 10 mins to get warm and that was it. Did not get hot. Overall for me it was a good stay, and the rooms on the website look like the room I got.
If I could give this rating a zero I would.Me and a couple of my friends came into town for one night to be close to the Spectrum for a concert.Checking in was a breeze the young red hair lady at the desk was very friendly. When we got in the room there's an ironing board but no Iron. She(lady at desk) helps find a working Iron (first one didn't work) She ask ( i would assume)the maintenance man where she could find a working Iron and he answer in a don't care attitude to check room 107.When we got back from the concert which was a very cold night which would be the weekend of a extremely dangerous winter front coming Jan 23th- 26th. Our heat wasn't working....I went back to the front desk to report about the heat and grab a couple of bottles of water. No one is there ,im yelling hello, hello, no one is there. I go back to the room we all had to sleep in our clothes to stay warm...Then I thought about the check in text that they sent me where im supposed to respond to if I need anything while im a guest. My text is in the photo .A day later a still no response. Early that morning I got up went to the front desk to report how we slept that night and was greeted by the same nice girl from the day before she apologized for our experience and she said she would report it to her manager and they would reach out via text...Again a day later nothing. The day of our arrival my review would have been about the area, lots of homeless people, the holes in the parking lot, all the things that the business has no control over. But then you go downtown and you see homeless people living outside of the Omni. Some things we just really can't control. But you do have control of how your guests sleep at night (the comforts of your own home, away from home ).If I had gotten a text from someone to apologize for such a horrible stay, you probably wouldn't be reading this review. We're living in a world now where accountability matters. And im pretty sure the this hotel pays someone to make sure their guest are comfortable and this day we wasn't and no one has come forward to say we messed up we're sorry. No one really cared.
Got put up here by American Airlines thanks to missing my connecting flight. For free, it was decent, but the room was in a location where there was a LOT of street noise, and the blinds didn't cover the window at the bottom, letting the parking lot lights in, making it difficult to sleep. All in all, I would NOT stay here again.
I just came here to say the comments are a little OD ? I read them after I booked & was prepared for the worst but it wasn’t bad at all, it was inexpensive so expect it to not be high end! But it was clean & I didn’t see any bed bugs ?? I’m a serial sheet and mattress checker & none was found. It’s a decent place to stay. Only things is there was no trash can in the room only the bathroom. Beside that it was a good experience.
This hotel is steps away from a gentlemans club if that tells you anything. Street directly over 100yds away is a homeless camp and that also should be a sign. Room itself nothing fancy but not the cleanest either. Definitely will not stay here again. Guy at the front desk is very nice and helpful.
We went Charlotte because our only grandson was having major medical issues. We should have realized a red flag when we had to pay upfront during booking. I am a disabled veteran with mobility issues. There were no luggage carts available the day we arrived. I waited in the lobby for 35 minutes before giving up hope. There were coffee pods in the room and no coffee maker. I called the front desk and was advised that a coffee maker was not available. (I have pictures) The hot water only got hot enough to bath a newborn baby. The bathroom only had lessthan a half roll of toilet paper. Gratefull for that easy fix! (I took a picture of the original toilet paper roll). Then came the giant roach. After killing the roach in the bathroom, I took a picture of the roach, which I have. I asked to speak with management and was informed, no management personnel would be available until Monday. I made my request Saturday.. I have had better accommodations on camping trips. g
