Guests consistently praise this hotel’s location near downtown attractions and convention centers, complemented by modern, spacious rooms featuring kitchenettes and quality beds. The staff, particularly at the front desk, receives exemplary attention for their warmth and attentiveness, making many guests feel like family. However, parking availability and cost are frequent points of dissatisfaction, noting that the garage fills quickly and additional state taxes are applied.
I brought a group of teens for an overnight stay for a birthday celebration and we enjoyed our stay. I would have loved an extra night or two for myself. Comfy rooms, breakfast had great choices and the location was perfect for the reason we came. Bonus shout out to Tye at the front desk during check out! I had a parking issue and he was able to resolve it like a pro. Super nice!
The room was clean and well stocked. It being so close to downtown within walking distance to the convention center, Nascar HOF, Whole Foods, Buffalo Wild Wings and more was great. This location had no courtesy umbrellas for guests. I ended up walking to local attractions but it was drizzling. PARKING: that process could use an improvement. They offer 2 floors in the parking deck for hotel patrons which filled quickly over the weekend. Overflow parking was available but ONLY by key access and ONLY on the 9th floor. Floors 6-8 were generally empty as we drove to the 9th floor.
Every stay here has been fantastic. Tina at the front desk is awesome. Always a smile and quick welcome. Roger is also great and always attentive. Breakfast is hot and ready with plenty of options and it seems they are expanding their offerings every few months.
We stayed the week of Chosen Con and had a spacious room with kitchenette and large bathroom. Clean and comfy. Good breakfast. Very pleased. Easy walk to the convention center and Whole Foods has great on-the go meals.
Stayed just one night at the Home2 Suites but had a great experience. This was a last minute trip to Charlotte for a concert at the Spectrum Center. I booked Home2 due to its location to the venue, price point, photos and the fact it is pet friendly with no additional fees. I was beyond pleased with the room and over all stay. Even the queen room was super spacious with a full size fridge, comfortable bed and lots of conventely located power outlets and usb ports (so important these days). The hotel was clean, calm and well maintained. Pam, one of the managers/sale director (?) was so kind to us and especially sweet to our dog Lydia. We will definitely be staying at Home2 Uptown next trip to Charlotte. Thank you Pam and the rest of the Home2 staff for a great stay!
My mom and I stayed here for the cheerleader competition which I was in. Roger is amazing, he really helped my mom and I feel at home! The welcome bag and extra snacks he gave us were awesome! My mom and i are thankful for his gracious hospitality
This hotel made my stay truly special. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, valued, and cared for. Tye checked me in with such kindness and made me feel at home right away. Tay went above and beyond to help me and showed genuine care throughout my stay. At breakfast, Rudi’s warm service and friendly attitude made my morning brighter and started my day with a smile. I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member and have stayed at many Hilton hotels, but this location touched my heart. The staff didn’t just do their jobs — they made me feel seen, appreciated, and truly important. It felt like more than a hotel stay; it felt like family. I will never forget how loved and recognized I felt here. I can’t wait to return and will always recommend this hotel to others.
????? Ms. Pamela at Holmes Too Sweet is an absolute pleasure to work with. She regularly calls our pizza shop in Charlotte to place orders for her clients, and every interaction is consistently wonderful. She is always extremely patient, very detailed with her orders, and genuinely courteous throughout the entire process. Her professionalism and kindness make a busy workday much smoother, and we truly appreciate her attention to detail and respectful communication. Five stars without hesitation!
Stayed here for 3 nights. The staff was very helpful and went above to make sure my visit was great. My only issue was parking but that's given with the downtown location. If I'm in the city again I'd definitely rebook.
Everything about this Home2 Suites is modern and clean. I was greeted at the front desk by Jada. She needs to work here around-the-clock and greet EVERYONE. She's cheerful & very helpful. I was able to have an early check-in and went to my room. It's so nice. Then I wanted lunch before I went out to my event tonight, and she told me Whole Foods is around the corner. So far my stay is great. I can't wait to have the complimentary breakfast tomorrow down in the lobby area. My guts tell me it will also be five stars!!!
