The only thing saving this hotel is that the people who work there are great. I’ll never come back here again. The room was cleaned but had a stained, almost broken couch. The toilet was too close to the shower and there was a yellow stripe on the white shower curtain at toilet height, which is probably years of splash-back. The fridge barely worked and spoiled my lunch that I spent money on and was looking forward to. The breakfast selection was nil.
Just had a great stay at Springhill Suites! Their rates were very competitive with the other hotels right next door (and there's a LOT of them side by side.) Location was convenient for food and the convention center. The hotel met all the reasonable expectations you'd want so you don't worry about the actual accommodations and just enjoy the trip. The standout feature, though, was the water pressure. I've never stayed somewhere with such great water pressure before in the shower. It was perfect!
Nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was great. There was complimentary water and they were quick to provide any additional needs during our stay. Friendly staff and very well taken care of facility. We definitely will be back!
The hotel is in a great location and the customer service from the staff was excellent. Unfortunately, my actual stay was very disappointing. The bathroom sink in my room was completely stopped up—you couldn’t run the water for more than a few seconds without it filling up quickly. By the time I realized how bad it was, it was late at night and I didn’t feel comfortable having maintenance come into my room. On top of that, the shower water never got hot, which made the experience even worse. These issues made my stay far from enjoyable, and I would not stay here again or recommend it to others until the rooms are properly maintained. If I could add the video I would, but it won't let me.
We came to Concord to deliver a small seminar. We were looking for someplace we could not just rent rooms but also use a space to deliver our seminar. SpringHill Suites fit the bill. Our rooms were very spacious and well appointed. The space we used for our little seminar was the perfect size for our 15 attendees. The staff were eager to help without seeming artificial. Just very professional, genuine people. And the location is very convenient. It’s among several other hotels and there several places to eat within easy walking distance—a steakhouse and a BBQ place are both literally next door. And the area where we were located is also very clean and safe.
A wonderful place to stay!! Rooms were pristine. Very clean and no harsh scents. Fresh and clean smelling. Vary spacious and comfortable! It was an easy trip into Charlotte and I enjoyed my stay very much. Reccomend it highly!
Never got in room, can't give a room rating. The lock light flashed green, lock clicked but didn't unlock. There was a lady at a room off the elevator with the same issue. No privacy, I could hear someone having sex from the elevator but I couldn't tell what was happening until I got further down the hall. Trying both keys twice while hearing the lady.....enjoy her inside time??????????????. I cant give an location rating bc, this is the first time ive been to a hotel that locks the public bathrooms and the front door ?, i get lockin the front door but the bathrooms too..? see, I'm not the best guest to give a accurate review when I didn't stay.
We came for a Nascar race and the location was great! Very close proximity to the track. But the rooms were very small and outdated (they still have heating and cooling units under the windows). The unit was so close to the bed that whoever slept on that side was getting blasted with cool air the whole night. The mini fridge was very outdated and had ice build up all on the back. The hotel itself could use a good deep clean.
Room was decent but two days of cold water and showers with no room changed offered or issue fixed. Assistant manager offered small refund of about 12%. Won’t stay here again. And can’t recommend it to anyone.
We were very disappointed with this hotel. I'm a Marriott member, platinum for life, but I was disappointed because we had no hot water. We ran the shower for a good 15 minutes and it was still cold as ice. We decided to do without showers that day. When I told the front desk clerk on checkout about the problem, she offered me a verbal apology. I had paid for the room with points and I would have expected at least a partial refund of those points. Sorry, Marriott, you slipped on this one.
