I stayed at this hotel for about 20 days, my room was serviced daily and the staff were very friendly! The General Manager as well as both Assistant Mangers were on the floor working as a team and of superior! The front desk staff was hands down the best I ever met!
I have been staying at this hotel for a month, and I can honestly say my experience has been nothing but outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The room boasts a sleek, modern design that immediately made me feel at home. Each morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast featuring Belgian waffles with fresh fruit, tailored eggs, and satisfying protein options. The gym offers a surprising variety of cardio machines and equipment for calisthenics, making it easy to stay active. In the evening, quick bite options are available at the placery, perfect for a late-night snack. The staff truly stand out—Roxanne, Shayla, and Kayla deliver exceptional, hospitable service that ensures a seamless check-in experience. Meanwhile, D’Aja and Ta’kyiah bring lively entertainment on the second shift and tempt guests with warm cookies. Toni’s personable approach and positive attitude during the evening shift really left a lasting impress. Yonna provides great recommendatons for site seeing in Charlotte, whether it be food, or things to do. Special thanks to Trey, along with the shuttle drivers at both arrival and departure—John in particular, for ensuring punctuality from the airport. Overall, this stays has been a wonderful experience full of comfort, great service, and thoughtful touches.
We stayed here for two nights. One on our way to our vacation and then again on our return. The 1st stay was great. The second not so much. We called the hotel after landing at Charlotte airport to request a shuttle. We were told 10-15 minutes. Other hotel shuttles were plentiful but we waited more than half an hour for ours. We called the hotel number times and were told he was on his way. The driver did not apologize nor did he help us with our luggage. He didn’t even speak to us. The room was nice enough but the bed was not comfortable. I woke up with severe lower back pain. Next time we fly out if Charlotte we will stay at a different hotel.
This staff made a great weekend that much better great location, amazing attentive staff Deasia went above and beyond caring for her guests amazing job! Great breakfast, they really treat the rewards members great too I was overall impressed and just shout out the whole team, gym was nice and clean, only thing I might say is in 407 that overhead light fixture was bugging/caused the tv PlayStation charger all to flip off the one time but just unplugged it in different outlet/removed charger but that was it just a real nice stay thank you all!
I really like the room layout at Hyatt Place hotels. I happened to be traveling alone this time, but it's kind of set up like a suite, so if you're traveling with someone, they can stay up late without bothering you. The breakfast (free with your stay) was surprisingly nice. Fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, french toast, yogurt, and probably a couple other things I'm forgetting. For whatever reason, the sound proofing between rooms is not great. If you're intending to use the airport shuttle, heed my advice and make your reservation for the shuttle WAY in advance. I didn't realize you needed to book a time slot (they leave every 30 minutes), and by the time I checked in, all the pilots and flight attendants had booked up both the 7 and the 7:30 am shuttles. I ended up paying for an Uber because I was paranoid about being late, and was glad I did because the security lines including Pre Check were nuts.
Staff very nice, called the hotel at almost 10pm and they promptly sent a shuttle to pick us up from the airport that arrived within fifteen minutes. The shuttle back to the airport was also right on time. Both drivers and the ladies at the front desk were very kind. Room was clean and stocked with free water for hyatt members with any status discoverist and above. Would come back if having a long layover in Charlotte.
Parked here for the airport and the staff was extremely rude and sarcastic saying we needed to book our shuttle 24hrs in advance which no other park and ride requires that. They offered no options or even apologized just said sorry your out of luck and to make sure we book in advance next time despite our online confirmation. We even said we booked with them before and didnt need to call in advance before and they said we got lucky. She was very rude. Beware they don't care about you and won't treat you with respect
If you want a good night's sleep don't stay here. Too noisy. The doors to the rooms slam and you can hear them from down the hall while in bed. The AC unit/ fan roars when it comes on then the room is dead quit when it kicks off. There's no way to leave the fan on all night. These things woke me constantly. The bathroom is tiny. The updates to the rooms were cheaply done. They charge an additional $10 for parking per night. The rooms are clean and well equipped. The beds are comfortable but a little too soft. The breakfast was a typical Continental with eggs and waffles and oatmeal. At $150 a night, it's overpriced.
I preface all of my hotel reviews the same way: I didn't grow up going to hotels and so I don't have any desires or notions other than I need a safe, clean, and comfortable experience. This hotel delivered on all four. It wasn't busy but it also wasn't empty. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Five stars.
With the understanding that the Suttle runs every 30 minutes from Hyatt Hotel, I made great effort to be at the pick up location outside the airport at 2:30pm. I called Hyatt Hotel at 2:30pm and was told that the driver was "leaving now" and will be at the pick up location in 10 to 15 minutes. I waited until 2:55pm and called Hyatt Hotel back this time speaking with a manager. I was told the driver is leaving at 3pm and the pick up will be another 10 to 15 minutes after 3pm. The communication at this Hyatt Hotel on Stream Blvd, Charlotte is unprofessional and not aligned. Very upset. Noone acted like they cared.
