I loved this location from the moment I entered the room. It's a studio setting with tall fridge, microwave, dishes, drinking glasses, sofa, counter top stools to eat at the counter. My room had a single king bed. The only thing that this hotel is that it's on the 14th floor and shares a space with AC hotel which is on the 5th floor. They also share the amenities like gym with them. They do offer parking. Great stay. I have no complaints. Spacious bathroom alot of counter top space. Roomy shower. Plenty of mirrors and lighting. The cost was worth it. Would book again. It's also in the downtown/u ptown area near train, bus, epic center, spectrum stadium and alot of restaurants all walking distance. The front door was missing a price of the door sweeper that keep outside things from entering the room.

I've had the pleasure of staying here, a 2nd time now, at this hotel. Both times, service was immaculate, attendants were always super friendly both times. They offer free hot breakfast in the mornings and parking on site. You do have to pay the parking in the parking deck for a fee. The cleanliness was wonderful, it always smells so nice when you enter the building. Ladies at the bar was also very sweet on our 2nd visit here. If you are in town for an event, consider staying here you want be disappointed, thanks for having us!

I almost didn't stay here because of the negative reviews on Google and Marriott's site. I'm so glad I ignored them! Kiya (who checked us in and out) was EXCELLENT. We arrived about 1:30PM. Kiya greeted me with a beautiful smile. As I figured, the room was not ready yet since the hotel was full. She estimated around an hour's wait, then offered the ground floor areas to comfortably wait in and also explained procedures for parking on the hotel side in the parking garage until check-in. That was nice as we could walk around without carting our luggage with us. When we returned at 2:30, the room was ready. Kiya shared information on the restaurant/bar hours, internet access, the parking placard, directions to the elevator, to let her know if we needed anything and thanked me for being a Bonvoy member. We loved our spacious king suite (special rate booked through Bonvoy member phone reservations) especially the large bathroom and walk-in shower. All areas were well lit. We found the living area TV inoperative. There were several dangling cords in the back. When I reported this to Kiya, she had maintenance to our room immediately! It was as we suspected. Previous guest apparently disconnected to hook up their game sets. The location of the hotel is excellent for baseball and football with the Charlotte Knights Truist Ballpark (photos 3 & 4 -- hotel faces 1st base) across the street on one side and Carolina Panthers stadium on the other side (photos 5 & 6). The streets in the area are treelined. The only negative was out of the hotel's control and also on several reviews are the street noises during the night. It sounded like cars were drag racing in the multi-level parking lot across from the hotel. It happened twice well into the night. Kiya made a note of this on checkout and Guest Services Manager Lakisha Pitts followed up with me.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Residence Inn by Marriott Charlotte Uptown, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. From the moment I arrived, the entire staff made me feel welcomed, valued, and truly taken care of. A special thank you to Alex, the hotel manager, who was incredibly professional, informative, and truly exceptional. His attention to detail and commitment to guest experience made my very first stay here absolutely amazing. He sets the tone for what top-notch hospitality should look like. Attiah, the bartender, is such a sweetheart and an absolute pleasure to talk with. Her warm personality and genuine kindness made every visit to the bar feel like catching up with a friend. Willie, the cook, deserves recognition for consistently preparing my food with the highest level of quality and care. You can truly taste the pride he puts into his work. At the front desk, Monica greeted guests with the brightest smile and provided great information about the local area along with other helpful tips. She was such a pleasure to speak with. Shamirra and the rest of the front desk team were also absolutely wonderful—always accommodating, pleasant, and eager to help with anything needed. The breakfast staff did a phenomenal job every morning keeping everything fresh, hot, clean, and fully stocked. It made starting the day effortless and enjoyable. And to the housekeeping team—even though I wish I remembered all of your names—thank you for keeping everything spotless and comfortable throughout my stay. This location truly goes above and beyond when it comes to hospitality. The entire team made my stay memorable, and I will absolutely make this my go-to hotel every time I visit Charlotte. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for outstanding service and a welcoming atmosphere. ??????????

The recent ice storm prediction made me think about checking the family in to weather the storm. I made a great decision to stay at this location! Parked our cars in the parking deck and checked in a 10th floor suite. Took my 2 and 4 year old grandsons ... and our stay felt like a mini vacation! The breakfast was just as good as any other Residence Inn that I have stayed ... and I am lifetime Platinum so I have stayed at many ... The staff treated us like we were royalty. Since the storm prediction didn't result to be quite as serious as it could have been we only stayed a few nights ... My grandson said he wanted to stay 15 more nights! There were lots of choices of nearby restaurants and the boys chose pizza but my daughter and wife made other great choices and I walked and got takeouts with little effort. Next big ice storm prediction for the Charlotte area and we will return!

I came stayed here for a month. This hotel is the best with accommodation. Everytime I needed extra towels or an item for my room, they brought it right away. The room was super clean and bed was comfortable. Front desk and all the staff was very welcoming and help me the whole time I was there. Highly recommend!!!

Came to town for a playoff game at the stadium and just had extraordary service from a management team that went way beyond what you usually expect. First, Amy, the manager, sent out a very detailed and useful email about avoiding street closures, including what address to put into your GPS to get to the closest garage. Second, I lost my drivers license, and had no idea where so didn't even tell the hotel. A week later, it showed up in the mail. Much appreciated on all fronts!

We have stayed at this hotel a handful of times .always comfortable place and the staff is always friendly . I do want to recognize Joan who always had a smile on her face and also Chasidye . The young man who checked us in the evening also very good. We stayed in room 409 and if I had any suggestions I would replace the mattress . You could dell the matures was a bit worn

I do not typically leave negative reviews, as I recognize that experiences can vary. That said, while this Marriott is in an excellent location and the common areas are acceptable, the guest rooms are in need of a serious renovation. During my stay, I was required to change rooms three separate times due to room-related issues (1st safety concern then 2nd cleanliness) After the second move, I ultimately accepted the situation to avoid further disruption. Despite these challenges, I want to acknowledge Monica at the front desk, who handled the situation with professionalism, courtesy, and genuine concern. She did her best to accommodate me at each step and consistently apologized for the inconvenience. Monica also coordinated closely with Evelyn from housekeeping to ensure that my second room change would be the final one. Their efforts and customer service were the highlight of my stay. While the staff did what they could under the circumstances, the condition of the rooms significantly impacted my overall experience. The price that is paid for the conditions of the room is not acceptable.

I had a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn. Orlando & Monique took wonderful care of me and my associate. The rooms were great, breakfast was filling (the breakfast ladies were FABULOUS!) and the location can't be beat. I look forward to my next visit.
