The Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte Airport offers convenient airport proximity and clean, spacious rooms in a quiet area, though reviews are mixed due to significant noise disturbances, a mandatory parking fee, and inconsistent service levels.
For almost 200 dollars a night this place was just lacking in so many areas. After paying for our room we also had to pay for parking is just one I will mention. That's just flat out greed and will be my last time booking with the location. I only left 3 stars as they do accommodate pets so I was able to bring my wife's dog with us but in all honesty it should be 2 stars. Came back to change the review from 3 star to 2 star. Nothing here deserves anything over that. I could have hired a sitter for the dog and probably saved money in the long run. Nothing besides that accommodation was a positive experience. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME PLEASE BOOK ELSEWHERE...
Hotel staff was very helpful. Kresha is an amazing staff member who is always willing to give a helping hand. There are plenty of restaurants within a few miles. If you don't want to leave they have a decent restaurant on site.
I stayed at this location because I needed a good nights sleep, its proximity to the airport, and to skip Charlotte traffic before my flight. Sleep was not an option because there was a machine scrapping a pavement and gunning the engine in between for 2 hours from 3am to 5 something. I asked 2 separate front desk associates if they would credit me in some capacity because I could not sleep due to the noise outside the building for 2 hours. Both representatives told me they could not do anything and that I would have to contact a manager. Interesting enough they did not offer a card or way to contact said manager. I emailed the manager and she did not respond to me in any what shape or form. I called the location back and again was told the manager was unavailable and I could not speak to anyone else in her absence. I then called the reservations line to ask about my stay and in trying to pull up my account the told me that my Honors number was no longer attached to said stay. Interesting. My confirmation email had my Honors number on it. Interesting. Very Interesting. Service was left with no stars for a reason.
Front desk was amazing. Checked me in quickly. I said here twice. Once before my flight and once when I flew back. Was able to leave my car at the hotel the whole time for a small fee. Rooms were nice. Showers were hot. My only advice is don't get a room on the first floor as it can get a little noisy esp at 5:30 am when people are going to catch their shuttle bus and don't know how to use their inside voices.. The shuttle bus was another amazing thing they offer. Driver's were nice and helpful. Takes a short amount of time to and from the airport. Already booked the hotel for 3 more stays. Two for another airport fly out/fly in and one for a concert I'm seeing with my son since I know this is a safe hotel. I would very much recommend this hotel.
I am a Hilton Silver member and I will never stay at a Hilton brand hotel ever again. Absolutely terrible hotel! Do not stay here! I am a woman and did not feel safe having to wait 30 mins (after being told they would arrive in 10 mins) for the driver to arrive, alone and in the cold at 1am in the morning. The driver was unapologetic and insincere about being late. He proceeded to break nearly every traffic law in the book. Upon arriving I was forced to wait an additional 10 mins to just check in for the desk clerk to argue with housekeeping over room cleaning. Car parking is $10 a night (seriously!?!) and there is no breakfast buffet (what the heck was I paying for anyway?) The room was ok but the service was pathetic. Upon checking out early the next day at 4:15pm I was told by the front desk that is was beyond check out time. At this point I almost lost my cool so I simply placed the room key on the counter, said I was checking out and walked away. I could have stayed at a Choice hotel brand for a lot less money and gotten bad service, but at least it would not have been as outrageously expensive with terrible service. Save yourself the aggravation and stay somewhere else.
Nice hotel! The rooms were very clean. Check in was prompt and efficient! There is a parking charge that you have to pay to what seems like a secondary company to park overnight! Easily done by scanning a QR code in the parking lot.
I came here with excitement and I am leaving depressed. This was suppose to be an actual highlight of my trip, thats how much I cared about this stay and it was a total let down, especially when you compare it to the Hilton in Raleigh/Durham near Duke. The front staff here are not warm and inviting.. like at all. They're extremely distant, talking to them is like talking to a wall. The breakfast was probably the worst experience. It was half prepared and someone who wasn't even my server brought my food check before my food was brought to my table. If there is a next time, I will just pay to park and sleep in my car.
This was a great experience. Missed our flight and booked the first hotel close to the airport with decent reviews. Rooms were clean, smelled great, and the food at the restaurant was very good and exceeded our expectations. Would definitely stay again.
Very nice hotel. The staff is super friendly. Tucked a little off a maon road which is nice because it keeps the traffic noise down while you're trying to sleep. Very convenient location close to the airport and close to the park and ride places. I was at the Parking Spot less than 5 minutes after leaving the hotel.
This was an unexpected stop, due to last minute flight cancellations. I can't recommend it enough. The rooms were beautiful, quiet, beds were very comfortable, and the shower had great pressure! Every person at the counter was very friendly and helpful as well.
