Great stay while we were in town for my brother’s surprise 50th birthday celebration. The front desk staff was very professional, friendly, and welcoming every time we came and went. The room was clean and comfortable, just what you’d expect from a Holiday Inn Express. Breakfast was warm and well stocked. Great value for the price—we’d definitely stay here again!

We stayed here before leaving for Aruba. The shuttle drivers to & from the airport were SO KIND and wonderful. Stephanie White - who was running the front desk was the complete OPPOSITE. There was not clear details given on transfer and once corrected, we actually overheard her making rude comments, not noticing one person from our group was still in the lobby. We had 2 encounters with her (1 by phone, 1 in person) and both were unpleasant. Not a good look for the front desk employee.. aside from her, rooms were fine for a short stay!

Here's a stronger but still professional version of your review: I give this hotel a 1-star rating because our experience was very disappointing from start to finish. The ceiling had mold, the room felt damp, and the sink didn't have a stopper, leaving the drain open. The odor coming from the drain was unbearable. The room was also missing body wash. We notified the front desk, but nothing was done to resolve the issue. We called the corporate office and were told someone would call us back, but we never received a response. The lack of follow-up and poor customer service made the experience even more frustrating. On top of that, the hotel charges a daily parking fee, which was disappointing considering the overall condition of the property. The complimentary breakfast was also below average, with very limited options and poor quality. If you are looking for a clean, well-maintained hotel with good customer service and quality amenities, I would not recommend staying here. Based on our experience, this hotel did not provide good value for the price.

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and had a generally positive experience. The standard rooms were what you would expect from an airport hotel—clean, comfortable, and well maintained. One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast. There was a great variety of options, and the fresh-ground coffee was a nice touch that made the morning even better. One thing to be aware of is the parking. There is a $13 per day self-parking fee, and guests must register their vehicle online. The parking lot is managed separately from the hotel, so failing to register could result in a ticket from the county. The reason for the 3.5 -star rating is our experience with the handicap accessible room. Unfortunately, it did not have a walk-in shower, and my elderly father-in-law fell while stepping out of the tub/shower combination. Thankfully, he was only bruised. We sincerely appreciated General Manager Leanne Halk, who showed genuine concern, checked on us the following morning, and promptly completed an incident report. Her professionalism, compassion, and responsiveness made a difficult situation much easier to handle. Overall, we had a good stay with excellent customer service, especially from the management team. We would stay here again, but we recommend confirming the bathroom setup in an accessible room if a walk-in shower is needed.

Just spent one night here and was welcomed with great service by Keisha from the moment I walked in way too early, and she worked her magic to get me a room asap. Breakfast spread by Lisa was delicious. Oatmeal consistency perfect, eggs, fruit.... all I needed. Room was very clean, and honestly that's all I need, but was spacious as well. The grounds are kept perfectly and are beautiful. Shuttle service provided by Al (Alvin) was prompt and kind. Just call the hotel when you land to let them know your ETA for shuttle pickup.

Staff was very accommodating- found me a quiet room end of hall, only negative was very low water pressure in the shower (I have long hair, difficult to rinse with low pressure). Bed was very comfortable. Elijah at check in was very friendly and helpful. We used the park-ride rate. The shuttle was easy and efficient. Al was a very friendly and helpful driver. We would stay here again.

This is a great hotel close to the airport in a decent area. We had to ask for towels and our phone was broken when we first checked in however those were resolved quickly. Shout out to Mercedes who provided exceptional service during breakfast! She is professional, courteous and detailed oriented.

One of the smoothest check-ins I’ve ever had at a hotel! Service was great front desk representative James really went above and beyond for me and my son. He made sure to get a crib in the room for me since I had forgotten to put that in the reservation and extra blankets! The experience was great all team members went above and beyond.

Pros: Great proximity to the CLT Airport. Front desk staff was very professional and welcoming. Nice lobby with 24/7 Coffe and Tea Cons: Parking is $10/night The rooms were not clean and very worn. Stains on the walls and on the sofa. Holes in the curtains. The carpet was stained and the beds and furniture were very worn. The bathroom also didn't appear to be very clean. This is one of the worst IHG hotels I have stayed in so far.

Excellent stay near the airport. Check-in was fast, the staff were friendly and professional, and the hotel felt clean and well maintained. The room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable—great bed, good water pressure, and the A/C worked perfectly. Breakfast was a big plus with plenty of options, and everything was stocked and fresh. It was also quiet at night, which made it easy to rest. Parking was convenient, and the location is ideal for quick access to the airport and nearby food options. Would definitely stay here again.
