Definitely think twice about staying here. We booked this room for one night for a game at BOA stadium because we were bringing a large dog and few hotels had a policy that fit. We booked a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite. Upon arrival, the room was dark and musty. We didn’t have any time to look too hard as we had a few minutes to settle the dog and get to the stadium. Upon return, there were roaches on the kitchen counter. We didn’t have any choice due to time of night and having a dog, so we stuck it out. We looked through both beds for bed bugs (found none) but had to choose the cleanest of the two beds. Both nightstands were disgusting. We also put our food trash that we came back with in the freezer so the roaches couldn’t feast all night. Thank goodness we didn’t have bags. However the dog food was also stored in the freezer and my purse hung from a hanger. I sanitized the dog items upon return home. There are no ice machines - you have to go to the front desk for a random trash bag of ice. The entire floor and room smelled like weed. There’s a “janitor/maid” closet open mid hallway. Everyone was just sitting in there watching videos and laughing. We left as soon as we woke up. I had to wait 10 minutes at the empty front desk and finally told a breakfast server to write a note checking me out and to email me my receipt. I then had to call because I was double charged. I would definitely avoid this hotel. I’m shocked it’s in the Sonesta brand. I’d never return.

Amazing value! The kiddos and I stayed for one night because we were in Charlotte exploring on their New Year’s break! Loved the fact that parking is $5 / car bc other places charge so much more. There was only one person at the check in counter and he was on the phone when I arrived so there was an 8 minute wait but I didn’t mind too much bc the kiddos just went to the bathroom while we waited. Our room was clean we didn’t have any issues and the bath water was a great temperature. The best part of course was the breakfast the next morning just be aware that it is only from 7 am - 9 am and if muffins, yogurt , oatmeal run out they don’t have anymore in the back to put out so plan your time accordingly. We did have to get a worker to put out more plates . Overall yes I would stay here again and recommend to others as well ??

Our experience was far from pleasant. The room had a lot of dust on the air conditioning vents, and the furnishings were in poor condition. The bathroom seemed to have ventilation problems, as there was even mold on the ceiling. The people working at the front desk lacked basic customer service skills. On our last day, when we went to breakfast, the person working there provided terrible service; it was as if they didn't want anyone to touch anything that was being served. We honestly didn't like the hotel at all.

I found this property on another site and the reviews were good. But after staying here, I looked on Google to see if what I experienced was a “one-off” or a problem. Having stayed here, I can say the poor reviews are 100% accurate not just people looking to complain. The roaches are a real problem. The owners reply to comments saying they perform regular maintenance. Whatever schedule is performed, it should be doubled in frequency. We were in a last minute pinch when we booked. I wouldn’t stay again. I’d recommend anyone else should find another hotel.

This place is a dump! It doesn’t even deserve a 1 star rating. The walls are paper thin! I stayed one night here, over the weekend. My toilet became stopped up around 1am and I was told maintenance wouldn’t be in until 7am. 7am gets here and still not maintenance. Whenever it was time for me to check out I asked to compensated for the poor stay and all I was offer was a 10% refund… run far away! The pictures look nice but this place super ran down and needs major upgrades!

Our stay was disappointing. There was no greeting when we arrived, and although the room looked like the photos, it was much dingier in person. We found two roaches/water bugs, which is extremely unsanitary. The front desk staff was dry and unhelpful, only offering a room change. There was no housekeeping at all during the stay , no fresh towels, no cleaning, nothing unless we did it ourselves. The sink faucet was broken, and the staff knew very little about the hotel. As someone new to the area, this made the stay stressful. I would not stay here again and do not recommend this hotel.

Location is great! Easily can drive to popular attractions in the area and easy to get to the hotel. All staff is very friendly and helpful if you have questions. MY room was absolutely fine. It was clean, well maintained and just as it was pictured. The places gets some mixed reviews but this isn’t a Hilton it is not a motel 6 either. It is perfect to use to sleep and spend time in town. Breakfast was very very basic skip that part.

Very plain no pictures on the walls in the hallway or suite. Saw a cockroach ? the first night, second night at 11pm fire alarm everyone had to exit for over an hour. I washed all surfaces it was dirty, towels are threadless, can see right thru to garbage disposal, shower amazing hot water great pressure. Don't walk neighborhood not safe. Staff friendly.

Our 2 day stay was amazing.. Mary was so sweet and very helpful. The guy that worked so hard making our Breakfast was great too. (Sorry I don't remember your name) Rooms were nice and the coffee was good also..

I am honestly disappointed and disgusted with this hotel. My two girls and i traveled to charlotte to visit family and this hotel is roach infested nothing was cleaned properly and the sink smelled like dead fish. this hotel needs to be shut down and renovated immediately!!!! i hate that i had to stay there with my two young kids. i would not stay here and i don’t recommend staying here i would like a refund but i know how these companies work and they are willing to take our hard earned money and not give us the satisfaction of a clean nice room but charge us out of this world 105 a night for a roach infested hotel room!!! please book somewhere else
