I stayed with a friend who came in town for business, you can tell the hotel is being renovated. It was decent for an in and out stay... there was no quiet hours lol so if your a light sleeper.. slaming doors are the main down fall... but it was what it was. If I were picking a hotel, I would have probably chosen the Tru hotel a few minutes away, but I was a guest of a guest. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The furniture with desk really helped my friend out so cool feature... the staff was amazing! Very helpful and friendly.

My husband and I stayed there for 2 nights and it was great. Staff was super friendly. The breakfast was perfect. Beds were comfy. Toiletries were great. I was looking for another spark location for our next destination, 10/10 would recommend and stay again.

Anthony, Rosa, and Millie made our stay so warm and welcome. They each have wonderful strengths. Each have a sense of humor. Each are very kind. Especially Ms Millie. I personal watched her have a customer be SO rude to her and she was just as respectful and calm as could be. I could not have enjoyed my stay anymore. Keep these 3. Yall are doing great.

The manager at this hotel helped me so much from another hotel being terrible. It was so clean. I felt so relaxed and I just want to thank her so much for everything we are from South Carolina and it was very hard for us to find another hotel at the last minute. When I tell you, I walked into my room it smells so amazing so clean the pillows the bed the bathroom. Everything was spotless. So amazing. My day was so comfortable. I will be back.

I booked this hotel through Booking.com on short notice due to an unexpected personal issue at my home that required me to secure accommodations immediately. I selected this property based solely on three factors: 1) the listed rate of approximately $100 plus tax, 2) favorable reviews, and 3) proximity to my residence. After completing the booking and while driving to the hotel, I received a call from Anthony, a representative of the hotel, informing me that I would not be allowed to stay because I live within 50 miles of the property. I was told this was a Hilton policy specific to this location and that the hotel only accepts reservations from “travelers,” despite the reservation being fully accepted and confirmed through Booking.com. This restriction was not clearly disclosed during the booking process. During this interaction, I was shown or referenced a pamphlet and was told that this restriction was “on the hotel’s website” and also mentioned elsewhere, and that I should have reviewed those materials prior to booking. This expectation is unreasonable. I did not book directly through the hotel, did not visit the hotel’s website, and did not have the time, need, or information to independently research hotel-specific policies beyond what was presented on Booking.com. I relied entirely on the information provided at the time of booking and reasonably believed I had solved my immediate problem. This call occurred late in the evening, between approximately 10:00 PM and 12:00 AM, well past my normal bedtime (I typically go to bed around 8:30 PM). At that point, I was already en route, exhausted, and emotionally charged due to the circumstances that led me to need a room in the first place. Despite explaining my situation, the hotel staff was not accommodating and offered no alternative solutions. No comparable nearby property, assistance, or reasonable option was suggested. My needs were simple and reasonable: an affordable room, close to my home, that was clean and available for the night. None of those needs were addressed. I was advised by the hotel that they could not issue a refund because the reservation was made through Booking.com. I then contacted Booking.com and spent approximately 45 minutes on the phone attempting to resolve the issue. During this call, I was informed that I would be charged approximately $500 for canceling the reservation, despite the fact that I did not cancel the booking and was explicitly denied the ability to stay by the hotel. While still on the phone with Booking.com, I went to the hotel in person to seek a resolution. Neither the hotel staff nor Booking.com was able—or willing—to provide a solution. The end result is that I did not receive a room, was denied service after a confirmed booking, and was charged both the Booking.com fee and an additional cancellation penalty totaling approximately $500. I also lost time, money, and peace of mind that I will never recover due to policies that were not transparently disclosed. Additionally, I am a Hilton Honors member and stay at Hilton properties regularly. This experience reflects poorly on the Hilton brand and does not align with the expectations of loyalty members who rely on consistency, clarity, and reasonable customer service. This experience was unacceptable from start to finish. The hotel should not accept reservations it has no intention of honoring, particularly late at night, and Booking.com should not penalize customers for cancellations caused by undisclosed, property-imposed restrictions. The lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic customer support from both parties was extremely frustrating. I would not recommend this property through Booking.com, nor would I recommend Booking.com based on how this situation was handled.

Excellent stay at this hotel. Clean, comfortable, easy access off I-77, decent neighborhood, close to cafes and restaurants. Greg and Rosa at the Front Desk were super helpful and very pleasant on arrival and checkout. My only wish was for LVP flooring in the room, instead of carpet. We had a pet with us, and while she was not an issue, LVP is much easier to cleanup than carpet. Other than that, highly recommend.

I wish we could find more of these great hotels on our route. Customer service-excellent! Rosa suggested the Mckoy’s BBQ place and wow, the tastiest BBQ and collard greens in a long time. This place has a spacious and clean rooms. The entrance is spacious, modern decor and extremely clean. A+ rating

Absolutely no complaints from me and I'm pretty picky. Hotel was clean and my room was spotless and smelled fresh upon entering. Room was ready prior to 3PM check in, which was nice. The bed was super comfy and sheets were soft. I tried to find out the brand by lifting the sheets/mattress pad but no visible signage of who the maker was. Darn! A complimentary continental breakfast is offered daily with coffee, tea, or juice. You also can select bagels or muffins. They have hard boiled eggs and yogurt with assorted toppings along with cereal. The yogurt was actually a stand out item. They offer a refrigerator and microwave in the room, which came in handy for some late night leftovers. Everything seems to close at 11PM there so some reheated pizza was great after ACC game. The location was about 10-15 minutes from airport and 10-15 minutes from Uptown. It was easy to navigate to everything. I would definitely recommend and stay here again if visiting Charlotte.

Spark by Hilton is a great choice! The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast bar was a nice bonus. Everyone we interacted with was helpful and welcoming, which made the entire stay an awesome experience. They even had a washer and dryer available for guests, which was incredibly convenient while traveling. When you’re on the road, nothing ruins a trip faster than ending up in a dark, dingy room — and I’m so glad we chose Spark. It made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

All of the pictures they provide are an accurate representation of what we had. Check in and check out were made easy, and it’s located outside of the inner city area, which is perfect for me. I didn’t want to be super close to the airport or a lot of night life trying to sleep. There are two other Hilton hotels in the same area, as well as another hotel. There are plenty of places to go nearby in my opinion as well. The room was very clean, as were the hallways, elevators, and lobby area. The most comfortable bed I’ve personally slept on in a hotel. The TV was very nice. The bathroom was clean, but as we only stayed a single night, and live two hours away, we opted to skip the shower and did so when we got home. They offer a bagel bar for breakfast. Which included plain, wheat, and everything bagels (double toaster and waffle maker to toast), blueberry and banana nut muffins, apples, oranges, bananas, boiled eggs, apple juice, and orange juice. They offer four different kinds of cereal including fruit loops, corn flakes, Raisin Bran, and honey bunches of oats, oatmeal to be made with hot water, vanilla and strawberry yogurt, oat milk, and 2% milk. They also had plain cream cheese, low fat, and strawberry. They had different kinds of jelly, butter, and honey. They offered toppings for the yogurt as well. They serve regular and decaf coffee, as well as the option to make tea. They also have a retail market that has snacks, drinks, alcohol, and microwaveable options for breakfast. They do not serve hot breakfast, but what they do serve has healthy options, vegan and vegetarian options, and is very satisfying. This was the best hotel stay I’ve had recently. I’ve stayed in four hotels in the last month, and this is the best one. Even comparing to the past, this is probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We will be staying here every time we visit Charlotte moving forward. Thank you to the hotel staff for maintaining such a wonderful hotel and for creating such a nice, clean atmosphere.
